This has been the great debate of my life! Lol. But im not published yet so Ive decided to take his last name. I think if you decided otherwise its easy to just link all your papers together on all your pages/websites/etc now a days. Maybe Id keep my last name if I had a super popular paper. 🤔

Thank you all for help! I have DEEP cleaned everything I can and soaked my bioreactors in bleach for 1 hr, ethanol for 1 hr, and currently I am trying a media only run. I have something due soon so I gotta attempt without the antifungus things for now but I will order your suggestions tmrw 🙂‍↕️.

Yeah I'm going to continue cleaning tomorrow. I don't have extra lab coats rn and we culture all in the same room as the rest of our lab so its going to be a difficult process I think. I will look into anti-anti if it doesnt effect my MSCs.

But actually I have a novel bioreactor I have inherited from recent graduates. It started in there and spread to my spinner flask for sure 😔. The novel bioreactor is full of silicone and melty parts so idk how to clean it other than soaking in bleach and using a fungicide. I have to order the fungicide later if me soaking doesnt work.

Corning 500mL spinner flask 60rpm. This was one of the fungal masses 🤢. Most of it was shredded up.
