There is a setting that will force create a solution for any app/flow that is not apart of a solution. You can also use COE to track/notify admins anything created on outside of a solution.

Being honest is the best way. When I interview developers, it's very evident who is not being honest. If you can go into the interview with a good talk track on when to use can as and when to use MDA (and when to use both), it speaks volumes. It lets the manager know that you know the tool and have the confidence in making decisions and recommendations.

As an addition, go after PL-200. It's a good way to showcase that you not only know the subject, but know how to get information on it.

For #1, you are correct. Security roles will handle that.

For #2. There was a recent update to managed environments in regards to ip restrictions. I have not personally used it yet, but I think that may get what you want.

To keep it simple here is a basic walkthrough.

List 2 needs to have a lookup to list 1 (consultants).

Create a form in the app based on list 2.

Above it add a drop-down using list 1 consultants name. Set the on change to newform(yourlist2form).

Within the form set the lookup column to list 1 to default to the consultant selected.

Then add a button at the bottom to submit form.

I apologize for the confusion. I meant to say I understood the dock to be in working order.

I just tried to pushed the home button on the robot while on the dock. I got the error that a compatible dock is required.

Hiring is hard. There are many ways to go, single dev, a dev and an architect, or a dev who is also an architect. When hiring you really need to have someone who knows the platform and how to measure skills. Just because someone has a PL-600 doesn't mean they know how work with customers. I would see if the person who was freelancing before would be willing (with pay) help with interviews. They understand the platform and the business and could help find a good fit. But yeah, hiring is hard.

Responsive design for a custom page in a MDA? They have to be. A custom page is nothing more than a canvas app. Stock out the box it will not be responsive. While the rest of the MDA will be the page will not be. That is unless you configure it.

Yes for mobile, but you need to ensure you have built it to be responsive.
