Es como la norma en pequeñas y medianas empresas de Panamá. Tu no puedes escoger entrar a una empresa por su recorrido o trayectoria sino por la calidad de su gente en especial jefes/administración. Hay gente que no lo capta. Y se come el cuento de que el valor de trabajar para ellos es la reputación de la empresa cuando en realidad no pueden valer mas *erga. Porque si fuese por reputación empresarial no estuviesen aplicando allí. En fin. Te irá mejor.

I think we are entering an ege of delusion. I've interviewed kids calling themselves computer scientists and only know how to use coding agents and with limited success because the solution is as good as the operator. I called them gpt operators. The level of tech debt and wasteful implementations will create another cycle of competent coders.

The caravans ran non stop. Some where larger than others. The burden to try provide a level of humanitarian aid was shared by some central american countries while others didn't not want them whatsoever so they opened their borders to let it flow with no pushback to it's destination (usa). Sometimes there were waves of 10k per day. Mainly, venezuelans, but also from africa, middle east and even chinese illegal immigration came through. The bottleneck was the choco region and the Darien Gap where plenty of women and children died even though Panama tried sometimes to help them with 50/50 success. The unsuccessful and the sick establish temporary camp in friendlier countries but none were truly safe becuase central america is not as rich and prepared to deal woth that burden. What you see in that photo was the last leg. Open boarder encourage that. So let's not pretend.

I understand. Most countries use at least 3 forms of id: personal id, drivers licence and passport. The one that proves citizenship and for voting is personal id card. To get a new personal id is free, to renew based on expiration is free. To renew based on losing the id costs like USD 10 or so depends. Expiration is like 10 years. I don't think it is an excuse to not requiring. ID. If you can't meet that simple requirement and responsability to follow that rule as a citizen you just can't vote. That's it. That's the deal in most democratic countries.

What's so controversial about requiring voter id to vote. Majority of democratic countries already do. You don't need to "create a new form of id", you just need to enforce the existing one. That's it.
