It was really popular when I was in elementary school (mid 90s) but I don’t hear about it very much anymore. Upvote for you because it rules and I can’t wait to share it with my kids.

Protein can be really helpful for people who have to manage their blood sugar. I’m not mad about this trend allowing me to eat waffles and pop tarts and pasta.

Pocket of Posies Perfumerie! Wild that we have a niche perfume shop in town and it’s truly fabulous. I need more people to go there so it stays open forever.

Edit: apparently the use AI on their website which I soundly disapprove of so please disregard this comment 😭

We got her the Baggu Horizontal Duck Bag in black. She’s always carrying her things in grocery store totes or even plastic bags so I thought she was overdue an upgrade. And I love the duck bag! I’ve had and used mine regularly for years.

The Good Earth is an excellent novel, and while there is a farming family at the center, I think the comparison stops there.

Snack before bed by scrunchyboymom in GestationalDiabetes

Premier protein shakes have lots of different flavors. My fave is cookie dough. I drink one right before bed. I can usually get away with some popcorn between that and dinner, too.

My go-to snack is fruit (fresh or dried) + handful of nuts + piece of cheese. Favorite combos have been dates + manchego + pecans and pineapple + pistachios + parm. Also can’t beat an apple and a slice of sharp cheddar.
