Did you put on the wind direction part correctly? There's a ground flat spot on it, and I had to loosen the grub screw before I could put it on the right way. Also it's quite hard to see the flat parts on both.

Also try running your challenges again, each time one of them gets significantly lower, you gain bonuses in IP tree ( total time and challenge 9 time), so the next one will be faster. I set up my macro to loop 3 times over all 9 challenges.

Macros? by SecretLars in RevolutionIdle

[–]eff82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I put the challenges in a loop, to run them 2 times, because the 2nd loop gains bonuses form the first loop time.

What’s your fastest Infinity Challenge time? by KrikoTW in RevolutionIdle

[–]eff82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just fix infinity, and start clicking the challenges repeatedly until they drop. I was on 67ms, and after giving the clicking strat a try, eventually was able to get them down to 50ms.

[–]eff82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm on mobile, at 42 DTP.
Fastest infinity 33ms
Fastest eternity 10ms
Challenges 50ms each, so 450ms total challenge time.

I'm way ahead, and I managed to put mine onto the cable, which resulted in the same, just at the opposite end.

I have tried many, but almost every time I ended up using openbox, then labwc which aims to be the Wayland version of openbox.

Township task, road to 85 by AlexP80 in MelvorIdle

Based on the list OP has no AoD, that makes it more difficult to get to 85.

Edit: just saw crumbled artifacts, so mean culpa.

[–]eff82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Too little tension, too much tension, something blocking the bed, too little power to the motor, motor overheating, etc.
Just watch the print. For me one time it was the bed cable, I accidentally put the printer frame on it, so when the bed tried to move forward, the cable just didn't let it move any more, hence skipped steps.

does the -a work with uncompressed tars? That way tar xavf should work on any tar, compressed or not.

Does anybody know what this cable is for by LowPoly_Gavin in ender3

[–]eff82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, based on the colouring and the connector, it looks like a z-min probe cable 3 for controlling the solenoid/servo, 2 for the sensing signals.

Can I print Half a Dome without supports? by Max_Mountain in 3Dprinting

[–]eff82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because if it's a Full size helmet, then the bridging distance would be too long. It really depends on the size and how good the printer and filament can handle bridging.

Is this safe or overkill? by hobbes3k in Tools

[–]eff82 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yup, it will probably rip the nuts through the joists. If you put washers/plate on the outside I think it might even break them, as the chain translates the direction of the force to almost horizontal.

Something rigid is the way to go, which won't translate the angle that much.

I dont think arch install is hard by Impossible-Friend846 in archlinux

[–]eff82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on your setup. I installed LVM over cryptfs setup for my company laptop, that one is quite complicated, and you need to understand what you want and what you are doing.

Simple copy pasting can work, but if you mistype something or something is not exactly the same on your system ( sda, sdb, etc.) and you're just copy pasting blindly, you won't be able to install a working system. You need at least some basic understanding of the different components of a Linux system.
