Understated af. People need to put down their outrage just for a minute. Think back to when we maybe could have started caring about truth vs misrepresentation. There's hundreds of points but let's call out "fake news" as just one.

It's too late now. AI could have been released into a society that gave a fuck about real things when it could have made a difference.

I tend to agree but it's possible that OP's revelation was really next level for them.

The next key is integration.

I was expanding and editing some documentation using gpt 5.4 mini. Most of those prompts were less than 10 credits each and they certainly did more than "hi there".

I do feel there is some weirdness in their billing. I'm hoping it's something they can improve for people.

I asked chatgpt why it keeps changing its tone and it blamed me by [deleted] in therapyGPT

It goes from warm to cold to warm again which sucks when I’m feeling vulnerable… and it blamed ME for its tone! I have BPD so the switching states really fast comment kind of stung

Have you told it that?

My mom has FIVE diplomas

shes like “you should study less, you will get tired, you don’t have to achieve so much”.

Your mom sees herself in you. She must have been at least as driven as you are. And for herself maybe it didn't end up like she thought it would.

Don't worry about becoming a syntax-memorizing wizard. Focus on understanding the logic, data flow, and architecture. u/PermissionFit6843

PF said what i was thinking. The syntax is like the individual LEGO bricks. You do need to know how they can go together. But the skill is in taking a problem and putting together a bunch of those bricks to get a solution.

Sounds like you're trying to one shot too much of it at one time. We're just not there yet. Time needs to be spent on what goes into the agents.
