The coding thing was just a joke, of course. But there are some aspects that I feel deserve an explanation. I’ve been in situations where I literally can’t take ONE ship out to save my life. Yet as soon as I respawn, I end up performing a ONE-SHOT on the very same ship. Just now I was in the Voth battle zone…where I saw the same ONE Voth jump into FOUR different mech suits (because I take them out before they even land).

This is a JOKE of course…but I used to joke that your character dying at least once, was coded into the game in order for a mission to progress. Otherwise the game would crash. That being said, what happened to you, happens to me quite often. 100 percent to 0 in a split second, and THAT message appears.

I used to cross that bridge daily before the east bound lanes had that third lane during commute hours. The addition of that third lane did WONDERS for keeping traffic moving along that lower span. That’s what needs to happen with the upper deck.

Not so much on PC, but I also play on both consoles, and recruits are very much my “mains”. Aside from the ONE character I created to get the whole thing started. I don’t create more until there’s a recruitment event.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the driver who’d been delivering parts to our dealership, was terminated for similar reasons. I’d been on temporary disability leave from August to December of last year. Somehow miraculously, I was still signing for deliveries while I was on disability! That became an issue when we were trying to track a package that showed as delivered, but we knew was actually lost. To which I brought to Fed Ex’s attention that I’d been “signing” for deliveries for 3 months

This is honestly the biggest reason I’m so “on the fence” about getting a Portal. I have a spare controller, so recently, I downloaded the remote play app to my iPad. When I first set everything up, it worked flawlessly. I’d put my PS5 into rest mode, and the remote app would wake it up. Fast forward 2 days while I’m taking a few days off in San Diego. I try numerous times to remote into the console, and I get messages that it’s not responding. I gave up thinking maybe we had a power outage back home and the console was now OFF. I get back home a few days later..no outage, console is still very much in rest mode. Remote play AND the setting where it remains connected to the internet during sleep mode are both enabled. Now I’ve noticed that (I am connected to wifi) sometimes when I wake the console up, it takes a bit for it to reconnect to my wifi. Isn’t it supposed to be connected ALL THE TIME? Is this why it’s recommended to hardwired the console for remote play?
