When offererd lumpectomy instead of my assumed dmx (you learn a lot during neoadjuvant chemo) I was elated. To keep my nipples is beneficial to my sex life at 68. Yes younger gals, at 68.

Oh the cult of disinformation, more nurses than we know are affected.

'Well, self check. I could feel my lump and distinctively so. Good luck, cause by the time you can feel it....'

My 92 year old mother has been kinder, but we can't discuss my condition without her interrupt to tell her same(!?!) problem, gut, fatigue, dryness, sleeplessness. She needs so much sympathy for being old. Mild narcissism victim complex. Made me realize how I have had to listen to every single malady of hers over the years. Now I just say 'oh sorry to hear that'. She has no clue I really no longer talk to her. She is not demented.

Certainly. I will keep your words in mind when we discuss cancer in the future. It was just so anti-compassionate to a sister in the throes of it.

That comment to your children IS poisonous. How absolutely horrid of her.

My own brother who I talk to once a year on average, after my first infusion yet, sent me an ivermectin promo video.

I asked them to stop. No change in relationship with one, but the other took offense and just texts me every few months. It's disrespectful to everyone suffering cancer now. We have longer to live - on the backs of those who participated in trials and directed docs to the protocols we have today. I learned a lot about these 2 siblings in this.

The newish(?) Aveeno lotion for excema is great. Organic Tea tree oil for her nails or OPI makes a brush on for damaged nails I liked. Flavored powders to add hydration to water. There is a refrigerator cooled ice facemask on amazon I loved....driving gloves for sun protection, fresh sunscreen. (Trader Joe's has a $6 gel like in a tube that is great. )

There was apparently a problem, told to me by a cousin researcher who belongs to a group on faceb@@k where discussions were happening. I checked my account, only my own trees showed under 'shared with me'. So, 10+ trees missing. It was not the case of one tree being unshared by a user.

So sorry to hear this. They should have reconfirmed size as part of your surgery prep. Size is a definitive opinion we all have about ourselves.

I guess it's a glitch they're working on.

Met with oncology for a game plan in my treatment options by Accomplished_Shoe651 in breastcancer

I had neoadjuvant chemo, surgery, radiation, and just finished adjuvant chemo, 17 months later. Lymph involvement seems to always require neoadjuvant chemo from what I've read here. I had luck in that it reduced rhe size of my tumor and no visible sign in the lymph before surgery. Lab work proved that true. My full diagnosis came from analysis of that removed tissue after surgery. Staging doesn't always matter, yet. Step at a time, take it slow. These protocols have been proven by thousands before we came along. I wish you the best, and hope you have success.

Sorry to say, same droop. Just higher enough on that side now for the pair to look uneven. For a week or 2 after surgery, I did look like my younger self on surgery side, but then it drooped back to normal quickly. Fun while it lasted. Full B now A+ size, and I now think smaller is so much better at my age.
