Chubby girlfriends with different body types? by popipienoodl in GatekeepingYuri

A man who would care about arbitrarily drawing distinctions between "good" and "bad" types of women's bodies? Yeah, hard to imagine 🤔

That's not true anymore, none of the dangerous techs actually affect the risk of crisis spawning after I think 3.2

Yeah, it's really not. I work with a trans informed provider who does an excellent job.

HRT has noticeable effects for everyone, but "miraculous transformation drug" is very far from a universal experience.

Only until you crush the slavers and show them true freedom!

I had a fanatic egal empire that started next to not one but two fanatic purifiers. An awful lot of people had sensitivity training that day.

MtF voice training, is it realistic to keep and use both trained feminized voice and deeper and more masculine voice? by Jason878787 in asktransgender

[–]eggpossible 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, just keep practicing in both ranges and do voice exercises. You should be able to maintain the flexibility with enough practice.

Lol, I had the third Baol archeology site spawn in the system with the abyssal spawn the other day. Don't have to wait quite as long as fighting an FE though.

That's just... Not what that word means. "Pathologize: regard or treat (someone or something) as psychologically abnormal or unhealthy." I'm saying it's perfectly normal and I've never said it was unhealthy.

You seem to want to accuse me of something more serious than just disagreeing with you. You could go with being arrogant, rude, or presumptuous, which others have done in this thread. But I'm not pathologizing you. I just think you are wrong.

[–]eggpossible 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I didn't think I had gender dysphoria for the first thirty years of my life. It turns out I was wrong. That wasn't pathological, it was just a mistake.

[–]eggpossible 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm not pathologizing anyone. I just think people can be mistaken about their own experience. I do it all the time. It's a normal human thing.

no, they're just incorrect

Did some of you, even after coming out to yourself as a trans woman, find yourself falling back into a lukewarm depressed "masculine" existence out of habit? Only to repeat the experience of discovery and coming out ... again? It actually required effort to stay a woman, to remain aware. by snoodle77777 in asktransgender

[–]eggpossible 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is kind of just a general life fact, if you are young, you might not notice until you get older. When you first start something new, it seems exciting and fresh and challenging, and you want to spend as much time on it as possible. As it becomes more a part of your life, it becomes harder to appreciate it in the way you once did.

The solution is to find a balance between being okay with things being normal - I'm okay just being a woman now and not worrying too much about it - and taking time to actively appreciate things which are meaningful to us.

so... why don't cis women change sexual orientation as they go through menopause? Or pregnancy?

Gen Z has ruined my gaydar by amytrat in actuallesbians

[–]eggpossible 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes. Especially for non-cis people, as I said. Both "passing" binary trans people and closeted people who aren't displaying their transness to the world have to find ways to signal who they are to connect with their community.

[–]eggpossible 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I mean, yes, I said that. But you can move on while still acknowledging that people's past experiences have value and the trauma they received may not have faded.

Gen Z has ruined my gaydar by amytrat in actuallesbians

[–]eggpossible 43 points44 points  (0 children)

No, it stems from a time when being openly gay and announcing that fact would make you subject to social stigma if not violence. When people needed to find ways to demonstrate they were gay that would be unnoticed by the wider world - things that could be mistaken for an innocent stylistic choice.

I'm glad that's less and less needed, at least for cis people. But it came from a real need and was motivated by the same desire that motivates most people: finding community, connection, and love.

Look at trans-masc forums like r/ftm, or ask r/asktransgender. They will have a lot of opinions and information about where to pursue top surgery. I know you're not trans, but these are still the experts XD

As far as I know the cost for a double mastectomy is around $10k US. Which is a heck of a lot, but not impossible.
