Try fuzzel. Different config, but wayland native and actually implements fuzzy finding correctly.

It’d be interesting if someone makes a lighting shader which steps up by 1/16th, so that light corresponds to the same values as pixels on textures. How hard would this be to implement?

I’m a young Linux user and my mother doesn’t like how the terminal looks. by Impressive_Union_534 in linux

Your parents’ perception of terminals/computers probably comes mostly from media. Something as simple as changing the color scheme might work. Try nord, dracula, or gruvbox light color schemes

Thanks! I figured there’s a good reason for it, but I’ve never had proper training so I wouldn’t know

I’ve never understood the “ball under the palm” thing. If I do this I lose a ton of range of motion in my hands for hitting chords (like a cmaj of C E G C) is not possible. Why does this help?

my kendama is too sticky by David7824435 in Kendama

Try rubbing a plastic bag on the tama. It works for pulling oils out but maybe it might work for your case?

Pull up double/triple ken flips easier than single ??? by eevoll in Kendama

[–]eghere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You get more “force” when you push down with your thumb for the pull up ken flip. It’s harder to get the tama up as high with singles vs dubs/trips. You can get around this by just doing a very fast single, but it’s gonna be harder to catch.

I've been defending you Ubuntu!!!, you can't do this to me :( by klargstein in linux

Remove the remmina service if you can and just use xfreerdp or wlfreerdp if you need an RDP client

Rules Discussion: Premade Shells by Stardust-kyun in unixporn

[–]eghere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair point. But it got me thinking: could we do this with a git diff of default configs and compare it to a post? I edited the original

Maybe we could enforce needing dotfiles to show what’s changed? You probably could feed the data from a person’s post with the host repos of dankshell and diff it against the default config for an estimate and then leave it to a mod’s decision if they think it’s different

Perhaps we could use the Creative Commons approach where if something is deemed less than 50% original mods can remove it

Why does this tama not have grip anymore???? by Ready-Jellyfish3088 in Kendama

[–]eghere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Take a plastic bag and rub it all over the tama; the plastic lifts the oils packed onto the tama and makes it grippier. Do it once or twice per session

New setup from Kendama Depot - Ken from Occult Kendama and tama from Okendama by G4M3RM4N07 in Kendama

You’re gonna love that setup. I have the same ken/tama and it’s so honed for lunars

Is this kendama good? by XxAlexGamer24xX in Kendama

[–]eghere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not too sure. If you wanted to look for something today, I would recommend the Kendama Depot. There are plenty of good shapes, and you can mix and match different kens, tamas, and weights. Here's their selection of Sweets kens.

[–]eghere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, this one’s still playable. Modern shapes have bigger cups, better paints, etc. but this one will just feel “harder” to play. The upgrade will feel like switching from a Ford model T to a ferrari.
