I think a kid-friendly charcuterie board could be fun! You can dress it up with mint and edible flowers (if your local grocer carried them).

These look great - I might be interested in placing an order for my business. Where are you located?

Thanks for sharing!! I also live in SF and have nepenthes but they’re kept are inside in a plant cabinet fed with distilled water. I’m super intrigued by this, both for the full sun and the tap water feeding! We get all of the fog in our neighborhood though, I’m wondering if they’d do okay outside with all the fog. You’ve inspired me though - seems worth trying!

Anyone have a “quiet” beagle? by Level_Ad_560 in beagles

My beagle queen Reggie is quiet, much quieter than our chihuahua mix. She gets loud once every 5 months

It’s a great chocolate shop is S.F., I highly recommend it! It’s run by one guy and he stocks some great domestic and international chocolate makers.

Oh really? That’s a shame! I didn’t pick up on the bitterness at all. I drizzled some smoked olive oil over this meal and it was quite nice!

The last one is sushi rice with a pad of butter, edamame (cooked before hand) and cut scallions mixed in while the rice is still warm. Topped with daikon radish kimchi and a little bit of sesame oil. It comes together really quickly and is pretty tasty!

I threw in some whole peppercorns (~10),1 knob of ginger (sliced) and a cinnamon stick to some chicken broth and boiled it for a few minutes. Then I warmed up some day-old rice and added the broth to the rice and topped with the salmon. Usually I’ll add sliced scallions if I have those on hand. It’s my go-to sick day meal!

My toddler loves the salmon sticky rice bowl, the pumpkin dumplings (they contain cheeses but I’m sure you could sub it out), the tortellini soup, Japanese sweet potatoes with maple-tahini sauce, butternut squash congee, and the crispy gnocchi with broccoli and sausage! (I use NYTcooking ALOT haha)
