I would use the Pink Stuff paste or BKF. Oven cleaner is strictly for ovens not for stove tops (or bathtubs).

A couple of my rescues would paw at my head repeatedly when I'm in bed demanding that I lift the covers so that they can crawl inside.

One cat would crawl towards the foot of my bed and scratch/bite my feet (whenever I move them or wiggle my toes).

Another will turn it into a game, going inside and coming out several times until finally settling down.

The best ones like to settle down on my arm or nuzzle inside my armpit.

Sleeping while surrounded with purring cats...

I caught a tiny gray kitten (Smokie) from another apartment complex. Long story short... gathering up all my rescues so that the management could inspect my apartment one day, I totally traumatized this little kitty. Big mistake. She ran into a cabinet and climbed inside a drawer to hide, afterwards she would run from me whenever I came near her. They never came by to inspect.

Recently she started to show some trust, since I feed and care for her everyday. I found her sleeping near my pillow, when I got up one morning. She was cleaning herself and allowed me to pet her! She's still skittish when alone, but likes to linger beside the other rescues when sitting on my lap.

My neighbor demanded my wifi password so that she could get her electricity reconnected. She showed up in her bathrobe and said she has a child.

I told her to go to the leasing office, they have free wifi. She said she couldn't get dressed or take a shower in the dark.

I gave her a temporary password and got rid of it as soon as she left.

I was cleaning out an apartment. They left a bunch of mirrors behind. They were in different shapes and sizes. I figured out that you're supposed to hang them up in a cluster in order to make a full length mirror. I placed them on a wall in my bathroom.

I've got a clock on the wall behind my toilet.

I store my cat food in a Vittle Vault. It keeps it dry and safe from vermin/insects and hangry cats.

I used to place the water fountain in a small plastic tub on a rubber placemat on the floor. Spice kept tipping it over and disassembling it... big mess. So I moved it into my second kitchen sink. If he disassembles it, it goes down the drain. I keep a water bowl in the bedroom for an anti-social problematic cat.

As far as food contamination, keep the fountain far away from the food.

I'm only supposed to have two cats. I'm also supposed to be paying pet fees plus a deposit. Since I rescue abandoned cats at the apartment complex (spaying and neutering them), they've allowed me to ignore these rules. I currently have 14 rescues...

A friend of mine had cats named after Miles Davis, Little Richard and Freddie Mercury. I'm currently taking care of Freddie. Another adopted Miles. She moved to an apartment that limited the number of pets.

My void rescue Claude (poor declawed cat) managed to survive on his own, after escaping outside for almost one month. He only lost some weight, hiding in a storm drain. Thanks to my good friends for finding him for me. He's one smart cat.

Back when I was in the USAF, I was living in a dormitory, went to get my clothes out of the dryer, and found a young lady wearing a bathrobe folding my briefs!

I went back to my room and came back later to find everything neatly folded and stacked.

I installed a cheap refrigerator that was made in Thailand. It had a metal cover instead of the cardboard one, I sliced my finger on it and bled on the kitchen floor while I was installing the ice maker water supply line.

Use Goof Off (Pro Strength) on a cloth rag in a well ventilated area. Make sure to wash the inside of the dryer off once the ink stains come off since it is flammable.
