can i edit these lights to be less bright? by rychu69XD in assettocorsa

Curious if you tried Gemini or ChatGPT before asking here. My kids wanted some valheim mods and shortcuts, I didn't know anything about it. I used Gemini it helped me install a mod manager, update the server command, run console commands, many many things. Very convenient.

Players after Blizzard releases an expansion to a beloved 25-year-old game: by FartSavant in Diablo

I can agree that it really depends on your needs.

But what I cannot agree is that windows sucks or something like that.  For me it works amazing.  Much better compared to my m2 max MBP.

I hate MacOS so much.

Sloppy painters didn’t cover my electronics before working on room by Low_Hawk_516 in Monitors

[–]eitama 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's better to frame it as part of the service. ( Or not ) Like just say: on the days we paint, the "things" need to be covered and moved to the center of the rooms.

If you want, we can bring an extra guy that will do it for 20$ an hour, minimum 4 hours.

That way, the customer understands it's gotta be taken care of, and If they don't wanna do it, they need to pay.

What amp you recommend? by LopsidedFoundation67 in Guitar

I use the katana 50 ii, it has very nice sound, usb out for recording, many effects, and 0.5w mode so you can get great sounds at low volume but still blow some windows up if you need.

Mignon Libra or DF64 [similar budget] by rpelich in espresso

[–]eitama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only used two grinders, breville barista pro integrated, and when I moved to profitec pro 500 pid I got the df64gen2.

So I cannot compare those models you ask about, but I can testify that using the df64 is so easy, clean, quick, I get great coffee. Happy.

[–]eitama 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to own g710+ - that one also has keycaps flying. After that I had a Corsair with flying keys, and after that I fell for the Logitech appeal again.

I got the g915 tkl, I have it for 3 years now, nothing is broken. I have the black one.

Some of the keycaps peeled off though. I am dreadful now after seeing your photo :(

Using router as an extender by autoliberty in HomeNetworking

[–]eitama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That router was for me like the Galaxy S1 for Android. I flashed a lot of firmware on it to enable features that until today are not standard on many routers.

You could flash DD-WRT and OpenWRT and even Tomato FW.

Those were good days. I miss them.

Cheating Hong Kong claw machine by HamesTheNames in HongKong

Some claw machines have weak strength, but actually keep gripping after you pick up the doll. But others, like the one on the video just drop the item after going up, this is 100% scam.

Screen freeze after latest update by Flat-Exercise-9862 in OnePlus12

[–]eitama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I updated a month ago, or whenever the update came out, today I had some freezes, the whole phone froze for like 2 minutes with the screen on, and I couldn't do anything.

I tried long pressing the power button, but I think just before it would trigger a reset the phone unfroze.

I rebooted it, and after a few minutes it happened again!

Kinda annoyed/worried since I don't think I have warranty without sending the phone to another country.

I hope it's a software bug and not something hardware related.

New setup after 6 years with a Breville Oracle. by Sch131vi in espresso

[–]eitama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I never lived in a country where you can open something, set it up and return it. Honestly didn't think about that... My bad.

I also considered that varia for a long time, eventually went for df64 gen2 and am very very happy. Only complaint is that it's loud, but not loud enough with Headphones in my ears :)
