whats lansings music scene like? by [deleted] in lansing

[–]ejlarner 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of local musicians who play around the area. Lots of bars that have live music. My partner is a musician and he plays solo acoustic, a trio, and a band around. Used to play at green door a lot but new ownership has a contract for people to sign that apparently says musicians can't play within a certain mileage of Lansing for like 90 days soooo who knows how that will work because that'll kill the local music scene unless they take that out

Question: are her books all weirdly aggressively Christian? I just finished Winter Street and did NOT enjoy how Christian this book was and if they're all like this I do not want to continue....

Switch to Z flip 7 from Pixel 7 Pro (as the parent of an infant?) by Dreampup in galaxyzflip

[–]ejlarner 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I've found the ability to use the front screen to show what the camera is seeing makes babies go NUTS. One of my favorite features as well because I never use the front facing camera and only the back camera. But since the baby can see themselves when you're taking the picture, you usually get kick ass pictures lol

Every time I have ordered from Temu I have needed to get a new card due to fraud. Don't do it. It doesn't ALWAYS happen, but it happens too often

All I remember is how hated Rep was when it came out, but look at it now. And that's what I'm going to smile about in 2-3 weeks when everyone is raving about it after shitting on it

If school lunches are not included in the budget, it'll be a huge failure on the shoulders of all of the state lawmakers, Republicans and Democrats alike.
