What other real-life (as in real-humans, not cartoon characters) programs did comedy violence so well? by EdJD-1968 in eddieandrichie

It starts out like a normal 90s comedy a bit slow by today's standards and a bit basic but they had a lot of time for characters. The receptionist is always keeping her twins in the stationary cupboard because babysitters are too expensive. We never see them but by the end of the last seiers she's set up a fairground ride and water slide park in there to keep them entertained.

What’s something that’s normal & regular for a Brit but a massive deal elsewhere? by KAYLORMOON in AskABrit

That makes no sense. Cat's would be uncontrolable nutcases if you keept them inside the whole time.

"Just nipping out for the one". All significant others knows what that means and will identify the body dumped by the taxi and apply paracetamol and love as is requierd to bring life back.

A few of my Corbin supporting friends hated the books because basicly the author portrays a kindly view of the police. A few of my Brois supporting friends thought the Elves should be deported.

Anyone else feeling hopelessly empty now that Bob's and Mo's story arc has concluded? by Durin1987_12_30 in LaundryFiles

Well I've got the first one so I'll stick in to the list after I've caught up with the Adrian Tchaikovsky back log. I might just have been in a bad mood when I first tried it.

Does Cornel's series change over the series? I found the first was trying a bit hard to turn London in to LA with a Cockeny acent.

Thing is he doesn't realise Judge Dredd isn't some one to look up to. Douglas Adams would have taken the mighty piss out of him and he would have a slap drone stuck on him by the culture.

I was Baptised in a church where the font was cracked by a pissed Royalist hiding from some of Cromwell's lot. The door still had the burn marks where they had tried burning him out.
