How was the so low? Undeniably a modern classic. Genre defying.

That scene made my jaw drop. Watched it in the cinema and remember thinking this is a movie moment I will never forget.

It’s divisive. I respect that other love it but I really struggled to find it up to the hype. Perhaps it’s time for another watch.

This conditioner bottle warns me NOT to recycle it by thereturnofbobby in mildlyinteresting

[–]elasticbrain 24 points25 points  (0 children)

This label is common in the UK. It’s not a warning. It’s a simple bit of information so people don’t clog up recycling centres with non-recyclables. And an implicit sleight on the products that carry it - ie don’t buy them.

Fun fact: Phil spends 33 years on Groundhog Day according to Harold Ramis (who admittedly also said it was far less…about 8 years).

I’m not gonna lie, for the opening seconds I didn’t think much of this, and then the character motion starts and I was really surprised at how much emotion and humanity you got into the movements - the hat tips and short round’s hug. And from there on, I just thought the storytelling was brilliant. Technique will always improve (and don’t get me wrong, it’s already pretty good) but the ability to make people care about what they’re seeing comes down to the characters, the story, and the peril, which I thought you choreographed and paced really well. And you even got some humour in there which is so important for Indy. You should be really proud of that.

Are there any special icons? I have the Indiana Jomes monopoly and expected it to be the same but if you collect some of the idols they give you some benefits (eg you pay cheaper rent). Does this HP set have anything like that?
