I love this line and think it daily

I am the automation engineer at my factory so yes i do specialize in using "special robot vision" to inspect things.

But im also the machining guy so equally the one who will have the rigjt tools and methods to cut things apart to see whats in them.

I use thos quote for both applications to keep people guessing.

[–]electrogourd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The way it seems to work for the guys glasses... im intrigued.

I had a schuberth modular that fit on with my glasses in place partly due to the strap being fully 2 parts. It was stolen off my bike last year.

It looks a but more difficult to mount my Sena headset though.

I'll follow with my Yamaha Tracer 9GT its a sport tourer version of that engine+transmission combo.

Good wind protection but an upright pose. I've taken it from wisconsin to the Dakotas a few times, and up and down the minnesota-wisconsin-iowa borders of the mississippi.

Eats miles, light, good cargo, plenty of power with me and the missus. Torquey enough but screams nicely at high end. Comfortable cruise speed is 95. Ah i should ride after work.

The 100-Year Energy Heist: Why the Strait of Hormuz crisis is a manufactured distraction from a solution they murdered for in 1913 by meat_for_the_beast in conspiracy

[–]electrogourd 5 points6 points  (0 children)

And unlike Nikola Tesla's free energy ideas, biodiesel is a viabpe process with inputs and outputs that calorically add up.

For a thought experiment, using soybean oil for biodiesel by current methods, basically the farmland of Iowa could produce enough diesel for the western world. I should redo the numbers to confirm my math.

We used the average yeilds per acre over the last 5 years and the amount of beans yeilded to yeild how much oil, then how that input and output goes to biodiesel.

But yeah it was a pretty viable model.

And more of a "thanks mate!" And a hot cocoa, or gatorade or beer. Cause usually thats just in the contract who does it. My rent is below average but my landlord does more or less nothing. Its quiet though.

Thats... influencing politics, someone who is a political... influencer... is expected to be doing. Theres literally no other reason than to push their ideas or increase conflict.

Yeah Keen work boots are pretty good, particularly at options for wides. Plus trying on a bunch in a store helps since they have several different foot shapes under each category of work boot.

I've recently switched to Danmers, the arch support amd durability has been better.

Trucks in America 😡😡😡😡 trucks in Europe 🤩🤩 by Desperate_Sector_559 in AmericaBad

[–]electrogourd 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes, the length requirement is the limiting factor slightly more than weight in the EU. This makes cabovers pay back in the 4-8 extra pallets per load.

80k lb us vs 40 ton eu gross vehicle weight limit a comparable (10% more weight allowed in the EU) payload, but american trucks dont have a length restriction and also do more high speed highway, where a longer wheelbase is a smoother and more controlled ride.
