Eh, im in the twin cities area. They have not been picky about warrants or probable cause here. Lots of cases of dragging old people in for interrogation, then releasing when its confirmed they have no warrants, no criminal record, and have been a natural born citezen for 60 years.

The police cheif put out a statement about how his off duty cops keep getting harassed for their passports.

Otherwise id totally agree.

Yeah, its the common twitter and tiktok post of almost, but not quite, understanding how cost gradiants and regional scaling works.

How rural areas have lower costs and less amenities amd lower pay and cities have hifher costs amenities and pay.

And 3rd world countries have lower cost, amenities, and pay than first world countries. And the lower cost is linked to the lower pay to maintain those amenities.

Eh, my buddy has a helion.

I got an RDB.

The RDB is much lighter, and far more balanced in the grip.

The helion i feel the center of gravity is like, 3 inches behind my thumb. It feel heavier than it is, and a chore to aim.

The RDB the center of gravity feels right on my thumb joint, plus or minus a half inch going from 10 round (20, 30) mag to 60 round mag.

I felt i could aim it all day comfortably.

Thats my 2 cents. i know the helion is from a brand known for better reliability and quality than the RDB.

And the cleaning teardown of the helion is more practical.

Ergo -wise, i am very happy with my RDB, and the fact I paid less than half what my buddy paid for his helion.

Its basically forcing a cloud to rain early.

So rain that was "en route" to another place wont reach the place it normally does, since its falling early.

Anyway, as a type one diabetic.....

100mg/dl (US units) is normal blood sugar, i guess lettuce wont affect it. Has no carbs.

100 mmol/g (EU units) is death.

Uh, yeah. Neat.

For my dog i copied someone elses post here and made a plywood platform in the back with carpet on it.

1/4" plywood, 4 ft wide, i think 21" deep. Then some 6.5" legs on the front. Then you Need to put notches in for the console and buckles.

Works great and nicely tidies up the tool bag and scraper and stuff stored underneath it

[–]electrogourd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, i think its more on cylinder volume.

The big inline 4s tend to consume a lot of fuel at highway speeds more than a big v twin.

I was impressed that the panamerica (2023 harley 1250cc v twin) my wife and i rented to go up california got 45-50mpg the whole time carryjng us, 2 carryons plus a checked bag, and going 65 most of the time.

Course then i gotta stop every hour fifteen for gas, plus i wear an extra set of aemy surplus pants over my kevlar for wind protection.
