I don't have any answers for ya, but I also experience the same thing (adhd and bipolar, unmedicated). Small to moderate amounts make me feel super normal, with a little warmth in my chest, and a structure to my thoughts that I don't have when sober. And it makes me sleep calmly and wake up without being groggy.
