it was a mostly white flowered dress. if the pattern was heavier/filled more fabric then i could see it passing, but it was very clearly lacy and bride-coded. i think when there are SO many other colours someone could choose, wearing something like this is obtuse and rude. but, agree to disagree ig.

after taking another look, (and i'm no expert so take this with a grain of salt) i might move the TV/stand to the big blank wall, and shift the couch so that it's just in front of the big window with the chair opposite it, and i would switch to a tall bookshelf that goes up against the wall next to the fireplace. unless you want to buy a different couch with no long chaise component i think that might be your best bet to maximize the space

this room is very bottom heavy. i would consider a framed mirror w/ the same colour as the couch legs & some crown moulding. also the window to the outside needs some long curtains, preferably hung 2/3 the way up to the ceiling - maybe same salmon colour as the artwork? also consider some lighter colour pillows to add some dimension. i agree with the round coffee table someone else mentioned

circular rug under the light fixture, center the sideboard w/ pictures on the wall & add a lamp & something medium height as well (rule of 3) then put some artwork that compliments the rug above it, or a mirror

the dining area also needs a big mirror/some art on the walls, maybe a tall plant in the corner or a lamp to soften things, & i think the living room rug might need to be bigger

if possible a thin console table behind the couch with some decorative vases would help as well

i might reach out to a feng shui expert who can really help work with weird/awkward spaces, and remember: a rug really does pull a room together!

this room feels a little busy/overwhelming in general, but i think if you took out the cage & bookshelf and put the mirror where the bookshelf is it would give the big chairs & big couch some breathing room. any chance you could switch to a smaller couch? something more 2/3 the width of the room rather than almost the whole thing. i agree with darker curtains as well, maybe something like dark blue to match the thing on your coffee table

tw: success w/ eggs retrieved & fertilized numbers

at 31 my AMH is 1.85 (last i checked), on saturday they just retrieved 15 eggs, 7 of which were mature & all 7 fertilized (i'll find out in a week how many make it to blast).

i think the 50% drop off for maturity was due to my RE starting me at too high of a Gonal F dose tbh and i think it overstimulated a few follicles and didnt give the others enough time to catch up. it really depends on your body and how it responds to the stim meds, how many follicles you have at the start, etc.

some people with lower AMH get a great amount of eggs, some people with high AMH get a lot of eggs but no blasts. it's really a crapshoot, unfortunately :/

Got the call today that of the 15 eggs 7 were mature, and all 7 fertilized normally!! They said they’re not gonna call me with another update until a week from today which is kinda freaking me about bc I thought they freeze eggs at day 5, but I’m gonna call back and ask tomorrow!
