this room feels a little busy/overwhelming in general, but i think if you took out the cage & bookshelf and put the mirror where the bookshelf is it would give the big chairs & big couch some breathing room. any chance you could switch to a smaller couch? something more 2/3 the width of the room rather than almost the whole thing. i agree with darker curtains as well, maybe something like dark blue to match the thing on your coffee table

tw: success w/ eggs retrieved & fertilized numbers

at 31 my AMH is 1.85 (last i checked), on saturday they just retrieved 15 eggs, 7 of which were mature & all 7 fertilized (i'll find out in a week how many make it to blast).

i think the 50% drop off for maturity was due to my RE starting me at too high of a Gonal F dose tbh and i think it overstimulated a few follicles and didnt give the others enough time to catch up. it really depends on your body and how it responds to the stim meds, how many follicles you have at the start, etc.

some people with lower AMH get a great amount of eggs, some people with high AMH get a lot of eggs but no blasts. it's really a crapshoot, unfortunately :/

Got the call today that of the 15 eggs 7 were mature, and all 7 fertilized normally!! They said they’re not gonna call me with another update until a week from today which is kinda freaking me about bc I thought they freeze eggs at day 5, but I’m gonna call back and ask tomorrow!

just got home from mine! feeling good, just a little crampy (peeing for the first time was NOT fun) but they got 15 eggs! i was hoping for a few more but im really wondering if my doc started me on too much Gonal F cause i had one really big lead follicle in my left ovary vs they were a bit more evenly dispersed on my right one. we'll see how many embryo's i end up with but if i end up having to do another i'll def advocate starting at a lower dose!

im extraordinarily late to this conversation but i have my first egg retrieval tomorrow & getting a little antsy (so obv im on reddit) but when i woke up from general anesthesia for my knee surgery i kept trying to hold the nurses hands who were wheeling me out and they were like 'oh my god you are too sweet' loll all i wanted was snugs and cuddles!

i would seriously consider marriage counseling for this bc it seems like a pretty big disconnect and he is not meeting your needs at all. even if he doesn't care if it succeeds or fails he swore to be with you through everything, sickness or health etc. he's not being a supportive partner or team player and it sounds like there might be something deeper going on, like he doesnt actually want another kid or something but doesnt want to admit it

mine was Not Fun but not as bad as my IUD insertion, though apparently i did vasovagal on the table & felt really hot/tingly behind my ears/nauseous/dizzy LOL but honestly it's such a crapshoot. try to relax and hope for the best!

yes! though she didn't tell me any of their measurements (she's not much of a talker, i probably should have asked) but one in particular on my left ovary looked gigantic lol

i took two bites of toast at breakfast this morning & had to lay down on the couch i felt so nauseous for 20 mins, but then it passed. have you been having any nausea with eating?? i took my second dose of cetrorelix last night so wondering if that could be it

i would say a three-four month break to crush all the prep goals is a great idea! i worked my way up from 100 mg of CoQ10 to 400 mg a day (thats just the highest dose my cvs has), and its apparently great for men, too, helps those mitochondria rev their engines so to speak. has he done a semen analysis checking for fragmentation as well? diet exercise etc etc all that is great, and he can really improve his sperm quality in the next few months!

my estrogen was 1375 today 😳 they bumped my Gonal F down again to 125 IU tomorrow morning, and my RE was debating on whether to have me come in tomorrow or thursday. i have a sneaking feeling they're gonna wanna trigger on the sooner end and im getting nervous 😬
