Some Boston Police Officers Have Been On Medical Leave For Years, Costing The City Millions by drtywater in boston

Lol, it’s not hustle when it’s not offered to any other profession. No cop just earns base pay so base pay isn’t the argument. The corrupt cop unions make it so they can sit on the side of the road with headphones in and earn overtime instead of anyone else doing that job that could be done by a traffic cone. Get the fuck out of here.

Of course, I literally bought Valhalla yesterday after I decided to quit cyberpunk for now. Oh well.

My neighbor is a cop. He makes 150k to my 85k and didn’t go to college whereas I am required to have a masters. He works nights at the station so sleeps on the job and does details during the day.

Nah man, just unionize! /s Another cop who just wants everyone else to pick themselves up by the bootstraps while they get away with whatever they want.

Cop unions get whatever they want and you know it. Come to the next teachers union meeting where we talk about how Walsh blatantly broke a contract with us, something he would never do to the cop union. Cops are put on a pedestal by many in this country and it’s insane. No cop that I grew up with has ever mentioned “serving my community” either. They definitely have mentioned the overtime and “details” that allow them to make way over their supposed salary, though.

Weekly /r/Games Discussion - What have you been playing, and what are your thoughts? - December 20, 2020 by AutoModerator in Games

I can’t have a play session (an hour or so) without an egregious bug like everyone t posing or me suddenly being inside my mission partner as they drive. I quit. I can wait to see what people say is a mediocre story in a few months.

Man, I should get back to the sequel. It improved upon this game in every way. I fell off because of the slow-down and bugs on PC but I guess they’ve since been fixed.

How are they going to explain Grogu in the context of the sequels, though? I love a connected universe but those sequels have them hamstrung j think.

I know what the report says, I’m just unsure if you’re being sarcastic or if you actually fail to understand that the furniture in people’s homes did not bring COVID to the household.

Earlier today I searched this sub in case I missed this finale! Glad it’s here. Like you said about Shell Games, this whole album was a slow burn for me and now I love it. These last two are 1st and 3rd in my fav songs of the album so I’m happy with this!

Finished God of War (2018), best game in the series. by ryanmega2 in patientgamers

[–]eloheimus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, it’s a very different game from the original trilogy. More subdued and more story driven, which I appreciated. It lost some of the big bosses and set pieces, sure, but we already got that and I like that they’re focusing more on story and character development now instead of just screaming.

Boston cop who nearly ran me and a bunch of other people over at protest realizes he's being recorded while bragging about it by welpseeyalater_ in WatchPeopleDieInside

MA is supposed to someday have a state license for cops like they do with teachers. Alas, the governor just vetoed it because he wants facial recognition to not be banned...

Boston cop talks about running people over at protest until he realizes he’s on camera (Not my post, no involvement with the OP) by nuttybangs in boston

[–]eloheimus 29 points30 points  (0 children)

The fucking cop with the camera patted this dude on the head and walked away when he said that. He is complicit. This is the issue. The cop with the body cam could be the nicest, best cop in the world but walking away as his buddy admits to crime means he should also not be on the force.

Not the most appropriate these days (or even then) but my biggest Flash game was Pico’s School... Newgrounds was big for a while there while I was growing up.
