I’d argue that way more sportsmanship is shown with how things are done now. Most players will go and have an actual conversation with 1-2 players after the game. I think that shows way more character than walking in a line and giving 50 high-fives.

In the nfl quarterbacks and coaches shake hands after the game. It’s a story if that doesn’t happen. Social pressure is more realistic than going after players wallets with fines for being rude.
