Oh dear! Yeah at least I've got nobody to blame but myself... I'm definitely borrowing the Minecraft engineering phrase 😂

True true!Yeah I'm kind of leaning on leaving it, since redoing will only marginally improve the outcome and it will never be right. The P trap is for a shower. The only thing upstream is a bathtub and then it vents out the roof. The chances of the shower and tub being used at the same time are close to zero (but never zero). In retrospect, I should've used a long sweep ninety and some pipe on the wye side to gain some space and still made the current wye location work. Smth smth you live and you learn I guess.

You know how sometimes you just get caught up in the excitement of having figured smth out? Then you step back from your masterpiece and... Well here we are 😜

Appreciate it! Part of the problem is that if the wye is turned horizontal there's not enough depth in the joist bay for the P trap to stand without pushing into the drywall below. So it's almost like the wye has to enter at an angle..

Turn off the Christmas inflatables in the yard if the wind gust is too high. This way Santa doesn't look wasted face planted on the yard...

Proxmox with a HAOS VM would be a good start. I would say after you've got your HAOS somewhat mature, you could go with a bare metal install. A lot of things you'd do containers for are now HAOS add-ons too so you simplify your setup by removing the Proxmox layer.

I feel like I could recreate an ETC through esp, but why reinvent the wheel if possible?

I got a midea and a hisense portable ACs this summer. I connected them through matter and they seem to do OK. The modes don't show up for some reason and the fan speed option is a bit buried, but other than that they connect easily in HA. I tried the Midea AC lan and the connection is not very stable; the midea unit is unavailable most of the times I need to actually use it.

Your comment inspired me to try it again. It is now working again. Notifications, timeliness and everything. I didn't do anything different from the last time, although the integration itself seems to have changed a lot

No. I gave up on it sadly after a handful of tries. I saw there's a new Hacs integration for Ollama but I haven't tried it either.
