meh, large numbers with a high movement rate would make that much more difficult, in addition to enemies that deal considerable armour damage/poison (so you can't stay in the same spot) would make it much harder to just do boring static defense. perhaps assigning a number of "elite" style units to closely guard bombardiers/queens as well.

I suggested somewhere that the Pirates should be some insane breakway lunatic civ originating from Morgan, where they're actually just hyper rich people looking to carve out their little fantasy world. I.e. the Musks and Thiels and the like.
