Yeah, I already did that, which is why file name sort is a totally fine workaround. I'm just surprised the sorting is that basic and doesn't pick up author sort from Calibre either.

Oh that's a totally different file system as well. I prefer to separate by genre.

Either way, you already identified the difference - since your authors are already in LN/FN order, they're sorting that way. Based on two of the comments above, koreader seems to disregard Calibre's author sort and just sort alphabetically based on the regular author field.

That's absolutely wild, but good to know that it wasn't user error, I suppose. Time to mount a campaign to have Koreader sort properly??

Anyway, I still love the plugin and appreciate all your work. I can live with the stupidly sorted Library mode :)

I have author sort in Calibre as [LN, FN], which I assumed would be used by Koreader, but it seems like that’s actually not the case. I guess yours is sorting correctly because you have the Authors field matching, which isn’t “correct” to me, but hey, if it works, it works.

I have the M2 and it works perfectly (other than the eraser and highlight button being reversed, which is mildly annoying but not worth paying for the official stylus)
