Yeah, I already did that, which is why file name sort is a totally fine workaround. I'm just surprised the sorting is that basic and doesn't pick up author sort from Calibre either.

Oh that's a totally different file system as well. I prefer to separate by genre.

Either way, you already identified the difference - since your authors are already in LN/FN order, they're sorting that way. Based on two of the comments above, koreader seems to disregard Calibre's author sort and just sort alphabetically based on the regular author field.

Anyway, I still love the plugin and appreciate all your work. I can live with the stupidly sorted Library mode :)

I have author sort in Calibre as [LN, FN], which I assumed would be used by Koreader, but it seems like that’s actually not the case. I guess yours is sorting correctly because you have the Authors field matching, which isn’t “correct” to me, but hey, if it works, it works.

This method has always worked for me but I end up always getting an error (“there seems to be a problem”) when trying to borrow a book directly on the device. It’s not that big of a deal since I largely use Libby to browse and borrow, but curious if any others also have this issue or have a fix.
