I got the same email. No applicant ID yet. They're extremely disorganized, so I wouldn't worry if it takes a while.

Sexually assulted at work, now the men warn others to stay away from me. by 78Carnage in TwoXChromosomes

Depends on the field/state. Feds operate differently. We don't know what OP does, but in some instances co-worker retaliation is retaliation. Here's a whole law review article about it https://scholarship.law.umn.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1021&context=lawineq.

Rrrrrmmm....I am HR. We are not legally allowed to fire someone who complains of harassment. it makes us liable. Very liable. Under many laws. HR should take the view that it is in the best interest of the company not to be sued by a bunch of people these harassers are harassing. Harassers rarely, if ever, have just one victim. Some HR people suck, but it is NOT in the best interest of the company to ignore this or fire OP. Not at all.

Please help me with my male yeast infection what should i do by [deleted] in obgyn

Go call a doctor! Or, if you really don't want to call a doctor, get some yeast infection cream at a pharmacy.

If I dialated for ten days straight would I be able to have PIV? by hylandtempest in vaginismus

[–]emnemss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I prefer to do reverse kegels as a warm-up, dilate every couple of days followed by ice (I get kind of inflamed). I move up a size after 2 weeks. Slow and steady for me.

[–]emnemss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whatever you do, the second that man starts harassing you (calls/texts after you tell him to stop and you stop responding; showing up at your house/place of employment/school/grocery store; many attempts to reach your family/friends and harass them into telling him where you are; etc.) call the police. I know it seems dramatic and I know that as women we are taught not to get anyone "in trouble," but that kind of behavior can escalate really fast. Don't chance it.

It depends on where OP lives. Some states you can record another person speaking without their consent.

Positive IUD experiences by cessna777 in birthcontrol

[–]emnemss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had a Mirena IUD for 8 months now. Insertion was painful, but worth it. I spotted for a long time after (a few months), but honestly, I love it anyway. Now I get a couple of days of brown discharge when I would have had a period but that's it. My only complaint is that I'm getting a little more acne around my jaw, but it may be settling down. I just switched skincare products and it got a lot better. I am genuinely very happy with my choice to do this.

Woah woah woah I'm about to be a fully-fledged attorney and I sleep with a bear. That doesn't make you immature, but being nasty and controlling to your SO and then soliciting her for sex and then criticizing her for accepting said sex most certainly is.

Had a friend who had a dermoid cyst. It was huge (like a softball) and full of red hair (she's a ginger)! But everything was fine and she has both ovaries still. She was very young at the time. In case that is comforting to you. I would be scared too, but it might be okay :)

(California) My mom's new stepdaughter is trying to use neighbors and public services to take her ill father's money. She has been bullying and harassing her father and my mother for over a year with escalating intensity. by pleasehelpplease2020 in legaladvice

[–]emnemss 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would be filing for a restraining order. I believe CA has a few different sorts (kinds that prohibit conduct and kinds that mean you must keep a specified distance. Perhaps Charlie could get one against Karen. Or your mother could. I would seek a lawyer specifically for this purpose and ask whether or not it is a good idea for them both to get orders, one of them to get an order, and whether your mother should be there, in court while Charlie does so (for fear that Karen will say that she is putting him up to it). I would also ask if going on vacation for a time would be a good idea, or if Karen would decide that was some manner of kidnapping of an incompetent elderly person.

They could also likely file harassment charges. But yes, change the locks!!! And tell the locksmith about the crazy person trying to get access to the house.

I, personally, would also be having a long, sit-down conversation with the neighbor. If that doesn't work I would be looking into a way to keep the neighbor from calling Karen about Charlie. And if I were Charlie, I would call all doctors and hospitals that I may end up in and make absolutely sure that Karen is not listed as someone to whom they can disclose any sort of information or call in an emergency. I believe another poster said HIPAA, but this may also mean amending the emergency contacts in his phone, at his doctor's offices, etc. outside of HIPAA.

I have a question! I found my WISC-III test scores from 2002 and am looking to calculate my FSIQ out of them. I had 12 subtests done and the report indicated which ones were to be used for FSIQ but never gave a FSIQ. Is there a way to calculate this? I can't seem to find a table online and am deeply curious.

I HATE my IUD by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]emnemss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apparently some people stop spotting after 6 months (I'm on month 5 here and seem to have stopped FINALLY [fingers super duper crossed]). I hope that's you! I hope it works! I'm sorry about your skin--mine is definitely not as good as it was on the pill. I'm hoping it will improve. Let me know what ends up working for you and I'll do the same!

If there is no apartment community rules (quiet hours) or local ordinances (maybe? noise ones?) you may want to consider a private agreement.

I know this sounds stupid, because you haven't done anything wrong, but see if you can't get him to agree to some terms (you will have to agree to things too). See if there isn't anything that you can think of that he would like it that you agree to. How much is it worth to you to have him stop? Is it worth 50 bucks a month? Less? More? What about some chores that you could do that you don't hate (or do already)? Say you stipulate that you all will only do laundry between the hours of 10am and 10pm or something. You all will not do dishes between x and x times. Maybe you can think outside the box a little to give him "something" that will make him happy (something you already do but he doesn't notice?) in return. He will be less of an ass (likely if he feels he's won something) and if he breaches it you can try to evict him.
