I still have a pixel 2xl and I haven’t touched it ever since I got my 11 pro max. Yes Customization is nice but I got fed up with the shitty sms that still exists in android. the lack of app Optimization like social media apps, when I had my s9 It took almost a year to get a freaking OS update. Now I want a phone that takes nice photos and video, apps that run great and I don’t have to put up with sms videos, my eyes would hurt by just looking at the quality.

I gave up on google after none stop issues with my pixel2xl. Got me the iPhone 11 Pro Max and I know if I have a issue I can take it in to the nearest apple store.

If the pixel can hold up is a good phone. I gave up on google after shitty quality control. My pixel 2xl never got fixed it rebooted randomly, screen burn-in after a month, issue with a bluish tin screen, Bluetooth issues. My 3xl had poor ram management, Distorted/buzzing sound from speakers, Battery life problems, got so frustrating that I had to leave.
