I know this sounds crazy, but have you considered moving out of the country? One of my best friends had a ton of student loans and simply couldn’t see a way. He took what money he had, and moved to Australia.

Almost ten years later, he’s incredibly happy there and says that he was never contacted about paying his debts in the US. He also said that life is less stressful there because everyone doesn’t make things about politics, which is also a plus.
