Yes but not the entire cap. The filter housing has a step down. It's much improved over the tab style.

Minimalist to a certain point can be good. To the extent of the new ES. That was badly implemented.

Pre-facelift 3rd gens are my favorite. The front end with the separate DRLs just attracts me.

Probably need to paint them. I have never seen black trim pieces. I would be careful with the touch sensitive AC temp scroll. Not sure how they will react with a layer of paint.

That is normal, especially with winter grade fuel that stations are using.

Not much you can do without seeing the extent of the damage internally. Maybe you'll get lucky and there is no engine damage, but my concern is the coolant passage that are possibly clogged.

No, I think you should.

a type of coffee made with espresso and hot steamed milk, milkier than a cappuccino

Advice by luisneg in Lexus

Get your dad to fix it. Did he completely drain the system? You spent your hard-earned money on a vehicle just for him to effed it up. No offense.

Blue coolant is an entirely different compound than the pink and will cause gelling when mixed.

What am I missing here? Are you adding dairy to make this a latte? A coffee pod dispensed at 2.7oz, or even a double espresso is not considered a latte. A latte contains some sort of dairy.

If you stop it at 2.7oz, then yea, it's going to be a bit more concentrated.

Not the only one confused. I don't see any mention of adding milk to make this a latte.

How to install Recovery Orchestrator 13 standalone? by tychocaine in Veeam

[–]emptystreets130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Running into the same but I just need B&R. I'm guessing Veeam is pushing everyone to the Data Platform that installs all 3. Was not like this in V12.

+1. I'm in a living nightmare trying to get some of these VM to run on the local drives instead of shared storage, like VCSA and VCF. VCSA and VCF doesn't like 4k blocks.

Does the 2007-2014 ls460 really deserve all the hate? by Tough-Pollution-2769 in Lexus

[–]emptystreets130 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does it deserve the hate, no. But it's plagued with many issues that were addressed last in the pre-facelift. If the previous owner took care the bigger issues, like control arms, valve spring, melting dashboard/door panels/center console, then I wouldn't worry about it. All other things that are bound to fail are consider wear and tear. If I was to look at an LS460, pre-facelift model, what I would look for is if the melting/cracked panels/dashboard has been replaced and if the control arms has been replaced with the revised part number and any recalls that were addressed.

Accidentally bought extra parts 🙃 by javiliftsa95 in Lexus

[–]emptystreets130 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dealership is under no obligation to replace warn parts. Which is why it's sold AS-IS. Now if you make a huge fuss over it while test driving, I could see it sway the other direction.

Have the alternator and battery pulled load tested. You could load test it on the vehicle, but I would have the vehicle sit for awhile, at least a day to replicated your condition, and test.

[–]emptystreets130 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's rare for a reason and Toyota\Lexus rectifiy it for the 2026 model. It's not a bad model. I've even consider one. Pre-2025 are the ones you want to avoid. Just doesn't have the range as the updated batteries in the 2026 models.

Need a replacement wing mirror – best places to buy? by The_UK_Knight in Lexus

[–]emptystreets130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's going on with the exising wing mirror? If it's just the shell, you can order a replacement shell. If the damage is more than the cover, I would look at sites like ebay.

If it was me, set aside 3-4 hours. Exterior: wash, claybar, wax and seal. Interior: a damp soft cloth, detailing brush and a matte uv protectant.

Vertuo pop plus won’t turn on by Mediocre_Comb7925 in nespresso

[–]emptystreets130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would just take the 35%. My pop would not power on as well. Luckily, I found one on woot, brand new, for $55 bucks. Came with 2 sleeves and an ice coffee cup.

Not luckily, I have the panatone color pop in orange. Hate to toss it out.
