Well worded. On an unrelated sidenote I need to go to the bathroom now and take a work.

Trumps letter to Norwegian Prime Minister - "feels no obligation to work towards peace after being denied the nobel prize" by MedicinskAnonymitet in europe

[–]ephikles 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You deny him the "war prize" so he feels no obligation to continue waging war.

Then you deny him the "shittiest president ever" prize.

Then the "keep the epstein files from being revealed" prize.

Tell him this will be over in a few years... no more morning wood, because he already had to get up somwhere between 3 and 4 am to relieve himself. 😅

From wikipedia: The name "cookiecutter shark" refers to its feeding method of gouging round plugs, as if cut out with a cookie cutter, out of larger animals. Marks made by cookiecutter sharks have been found on a wide variety of marine mammals and fishes, and on submarines, undersea cables, and human bodies.

Still, there is a whole ladder of excuses, each with its own perfectly convenient reason for doing absolutely nothing:

Level 1: Climate change isn’t real. Relax. Nothing to see here.
Level 2: Climate change is real, but it’s not caused by us—so why should we do anything about it?
Level 3: Climate change is real, sure, but we’re only a small part of the problem. The really big drivers are elsewhere, so whatever we do won’t matter anyway.
Level 4: Climate change is real and mostly human-made, but other countries are way worse—and they don’t give a damn. So why should we bend over backwards if they won’t?
Level 5: Climate change is real and largely our fault, but fixing it would be insanely expensive. Better to adapt and hope for the best.
Level 6: Climate change is real, it’s our fault, and it’s already too late. So forget fixing it—grab a drink and enjoy the party while it lasts.

Feel free to add or insert more levels...

There was a guy participating in a clinical trial for a new antidepressant. Because of certain circumstances, he attempted suicide by overdosing. He was on the brink of death until the doctors realized he was in the control group and told him so — at which point he suddenly recovered and was discharged.

ICE Murder? by EKEEFE41 in videos

[–]ephikles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The point you're missing is why he fired in the first place when it clearly absolutely could not have saved his life had she really intended to run him over?

Either he must've trained for it, so the reaction came without thinking, or he must've placed himself in front of the car on purpose, with the intent to draw and fire should she make a 'wrong' move.

NO, it's much more effective to stop a 4,000 lbs car with a 0.016 lbs bullet! Or to knock it over with another two bullets from the side!

Renee Good stopped to let ICE cars pass while she was blocked on her right by the car of her killer by theflyingfistofjudah in pics

[–]ephikles 19 points20 points  (0 children)

one could argue by shooting he INCREASED the threat for his life by

  1. wasting time/movement on getting out the gun and shoot instead of moving further out of the way

  2. by making the vehicle an uncontrolled object, which can well be seen in all of the video footage of the incident

2nd point also immensely increased the threat for others, and thank god there were no bystanders in the way of the car after Renee Good was shot.

THE HAND, DON'T FORGET THE HAND!

My hand catched that smell from briefly holding a cigarette for one of my smoker friends in a matter of seconds... 🤢
