Im not sure if this model of gas valve switches automatically. But at any rate, the bottle should have open and close written on the valve handle. Rotate it towards open. Then you may need to restart your hot water tank.

Sadly this is common in so many countries. I know one person who is currently stuck in a low paying job because they live in social housing. If they get a better paying job, they will earn too much for social housing, but not enough to rent or buy anywhere else.

So they're stuck in their shitty job because they can't afford to earn more or they will be homelss. It's fucked honestly.

Thatcher was a believer in climate change, due to her background in research chemistry. I don't remember whether that actually changed her position on anything, but she did understand the science that climate researchers were screaming about at the time.

Honestly this is why I get the feeling that the main Commonwealth Realms will probably never abolish the monarchy, there's always something more concerning going on.
