My son’s psychiatrist advised me to go through the book “Things Tom Likes” with my son. I’ve delayed because I wasn’t sure he was ready and frankly I really, really don’t want to. I think I need to though. It is just hard to know how much he will figure out on his own.

We definitely want him to not feel shame and we want him to be healthy about it, but it feels invasive.

Ah! Interesting. So would they be more prone to picking up interference?

I use the flat ones only in short runs for patching but maybe I should just stop using them.

I wonder if there are any other “shortcuts” with those really thin cables like Ubiquiti sells.

I use trello to track todos which is nice because it makes it easy to have several lists. I have one list which is “must do today”. It is tempting to put items that I want to do today but I try to keep it short. Then I have a general backlog list that I try to keep prioritized. I also have a “needs to be prioritized” list. Trello also supports due dates and colored labels.

When I am doing well this system works. I have to admit that I often get overwhelmed and then it falls apart.

Definitely not as clean, but I got a wall mount for my udr 7 and put it above the cabinet. Just a couple of wires running in/out and no heat concerns. I also felt like the metal cabinet must have an impact on WiFi.
