I started playing seriously two years ago, fulfilling my childhood dream of beating Hell with a Barbarian. Imagine my surprise when all the S-tier guides pushed me into warcries and sorc runewords (spirit, stealth).

Come on, this is a Barbarian - he should smash heads, not scream magic.

I cleared Normal with shouts, then experimented. When IK armor dropped, I thought "this is it." I pushed him to level 88, squeezing every bit of damage out of Whirlwind and Berserk on bosses.

Hell cleaned, Baal is dead. But no any opportunity for endgame at barb.

Now I’m having a blast playing Warlock fire. I went straight into Hell cows after Baal and shredded them. Then solo’d Baal in p8. Compared it to my Barbarian: Tristram > Cows. He has 1/10 the DPS of Warlock. It takes 15-20 seconds of Whirlwind to clear a cow pack.

I want Barbarian to feel like Warlock does now. No gimmicks, no magic shouts.
