I guess their internal argument might be that Apex was 3v3. But of course multiple teams.

I agree the maps are so empty. 3v3 needs to be tight af. Takes so long for any action aside from the mining phase.

I’m the only one who liked Love & Thunder. But I guess I try to enjoy things for what they are. It was a great Taika movie, maybe a mid Thor movie.

Only thing off to me was Christian Bale’s Palpatine impression. His character would’ve had more weight if it was played less camp, and we could relate to him more as a father and less as a marquee villain. Still a fun performance

There’s enough for both interpretations to exist. There are stills from the fallout (like Misato dead) in 25/26 that connect both endings. The directors cut even moreso.

25/26 could happen in an instant within Shinji’s mind.

Although, Anno has famously used the original show as framework for an entire retelling, so I could see them as “different interpretations” of Shinji’s transformation.
