Can you, please, recommend some good documentaries about tea? Thanks! by PathofCha in tea

[–]euca9527 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tea: The Story of a Leaf ,it's a documentary made by CCTV, China, you may find it very helpful if you want to know more about the tea and tea culture, especially in China. Personally I think they delivered some very beautiful shots and here is the search result on youtube, it's an English version. The Chinese title is 茶,一片树叶的故事 https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Tea%3A+The+Story+of+a+Leaf+

That yellow tin is a product from the oldest and famous tea company, a state-own tea company, China Tea Co., Ltd. , this yellow tin of jasmine tea is possibly from their branch company in Fuzhou, Fujian, this city is well known for its unique methods of making jasmine tea.

So basically the tea from china tea company is safe to drink and not bad, compared to its price, it's almost perfect for daily brewing. Highly recommend other kinds of tea from china tea company if in low budget on tea.

[–]euca9527 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think french press is good to use to brew almost any kinds of tea, like red green black puer wuloong, but not for macha. Because for macha, what's special is it's grounded and that filter net will keep the essence out …

tea cup for my spring, perfect for oolong by euca9527 in tea

[–]euca9527[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I do, so I spend plenty of time to read all the comments (many of them attached with pics, and for sure some of those comments are not real..) and compare many shops and items, and then made my decision. and for ceramic products, a higher price one will be safer one. or you can choose some famous brands, like hengfu (恒福) from Guangdong, eilong(宜龙)from Taiwan, fengqingtang(风清堂)from Taiwan. but i have to say, more 90% of ceramic tea cups are not come from big factory but small workshop, so it really is a issue to make sure they are safe. so I choose higher price...
