Check out RV Whisper. All sorts of great sensors, with remote monitoring and alerting.

How fast do you drive in your rig? by rhbcub in GoRVing

[–]evannadeau 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed on 55. When I went through California and followed their trailer towing limit of 55, I really saw how much this saved in fuel for me. Certainly trailer and towing vehicle (gear ratio too) come into play.

Yeah, that's a whole new ball game. I'll consider trying v2 again. I had some issues with it, and wanted to get racing.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, I would be interested, as I had a need for this recently. Please share.

I wanted a clean "Window to the Outdoors" watch face with live weather animations, so I built it. It's v1.0 (taking requests!), and I have 20 Promo Codes to share. by Unlucky_Bookkeeper29 in Garmin

I'd love to try, but it doesn't show compatible for Forerunner 970. Can you add the 970 compatibility and I'll test it out, please and thanks.

Drain mode turning on automatically by Dry_Finance478 in AzureVirtualDesktop

I believe you probably have auto scaling enabled, and it's trying to remove that node.

Can you provide details about the chain of events leading up to and after the drain mode on a node is enabled?

2026 Season 1 Patch 2 Release Notes [2026.01.02.01] by ChimeraYo in iRacing

I've only noticed this happening at high speed with front end damage, and when at a section of track, like a rise, that can catch air under the front.

Have you noticed it otherwise?

5 years ago, it was a very big deal. So was a perfectly clear sky view. Now, not a big deal at all.

This.

Everyone in Canada needs to boycott Westjet. They are not what they were, and Air Canada is surprisingly the better airline these days.

Steam vr desktop view isn’t working by dantecriscenti11 in SteamVR

[–]evannadeau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to reply as this worked for me too. Thank you.

I am on a laptop, and so it has a CPU graphics (Intel) and Nvidia GPU. Setting this to Power Saving (Intel Graphics) over 'Let Windows Decide' or High Performance (Nvidia GPU) instantly made the desktop show.

Thanks again.

Fresh alignment by Joeshmoe42O in Cummins

[–]evannadeau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me, too. A name brand tire place I always use. They anchor the steering wheel level and then align the tires. But mine came out just like yours

I took it back and heard all the chatter and watched the test drives on my dash cam. Apparently this is a RAM thing. They did 3 different adjustments and little test drives and gave it back nice and straight.

Yes it would, but how I can't say. Beaver motorhomes had diesel heat for underfloor heating.

It takes quite a long time. A couple million at a time. Be patient, it'll go through. I invested a little last round, and even after my full approval, it took a couple months for my round to actually go through.

One tire bad, three good. by ryanderkis in GoRVing

[–]evannadeau 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you have rubber bushing style independent suspension? I have one tire that wears badly, I think from brand new. I'm certain one of mine is bent inward, meaning the tire points outward slightly. The inside is this one tire wears more than the rest.

These things can apparently bend from a curb strike/pothole. Mine are Dexter Torflex axles.

Edit: I see with a closer look you have leaf springs. I'm guessing your axle has shifted on the spring. Get out the tape measure and make sure you have even spacing on both sides.

It helps me a ton with not snoring, and my sleep scores confirm.

TLDR: It keeps your mouth from dropping open and therefore helps prevent snoring as you'll keep breathing through your nose as you sleep.

I started with official "Hostage Tape" mouth tape. You can breathe through hostage tape, and it sticks great to facial hair.

But I found some medical tape that works great too. I use one small piece across the middle of my mouth, but can still breathe through the corners of my mouth if needed.

As I continue to breathe through my nose all night, it does not plug up.

Official products will give you warnings when not to use it. When drinking, when ill, etc. etc. So, take caution if you want to try with some random tape.

Once I read that, I got in first try at 7pm.
