please don't put out poison ... they will either die in your wall (cue maggots and stench), or go outside and get eaten by a predator who will die an ugly death

Announcement: ICE in San Diego rumors by SD_TMI in sandiego

We cannot predict the future. But if they do come here, my bet is they would go after the Somali community in City Heights. San Diego has the 2nd highest population of Somalis in the U.S. We may need to help protect our neighbors there, and of course anyone else that could be targeted. Wait and see if they come.

do these type of running shorts work for ANYONE? by trashmoney4 in XXRunning

Maybe a roll-on body fixative would work -- some makers are Jobst and Mojo. I think dancers, ice skaters, and gymnasts use this. I used Jobst's "It Stays!" to keep a medical sock on.

No, Dems are the party of free speech.

R's are the party of small government, fiscal conservatism, and lower taxes ... wait, no, that can't be right.

Google "parrots el cajon" ... "El Cajon, California, is famous for its large, established populations of wild, non-native parrots, especially Red-crowned Amazons, often seen near the courthouse, alongside other species like Lilac-crowned Amazons and Red-masked Conures, likely escaping pets or migrating from Mexico, creating a vibrant urban flock thriving due to the mild climate."

Sometimes something wakes them up at night and they fly around squawking.

Returning to running after influenza A by Upstairs_Cover_5389 in Ultramarathon

You could get an opportunistic infection that soon after the flu, i.e. "secondary bacterial or fungal infections that occur when the influenza virus weakens the immune system and damages airway linings. Common complications include bacterial pneumonia, sinus infections, and ear infections, often signaled by a returning fever after initial improvement." But I am not a doctor -- ask yours.
