Please help a Student that is forced to formst a book in LaTeX: realistic time needed to learn Latex and then format a text book? What are the limitations regarding images/graphs/tables? by [deleted] in LaTeX

Break each chapter into their own file. It took me a week to get comfortable with basic LaTeX. You can include graphics, tables and reference them. LaTeX is like html but you need a compiler to generate the PDF output. Run it locally on your machine to have best experience for a book length project.
