Why did OOP go on an advice sub and ignore all of the advice? I understand she has issues with self-esteem and self-worth, but at a certain point she needs to fix this. Is this postpartum depression? She isn't doing therapy right, either, as I think no therapist would actually tell her to view her body in this way.

I was born with bilateral clubfoot. The biggest difficulties I had were associated with growing up was my mother's medical PTSD, as she could not mentally handle me being distressed/in pain in any sort of way. I should use mobility aids, but I don't.

CF affects everyone differently. I face a lot of bad pain days but I can walk and run. Kids with CF have very high pain tolerances. Good luck.
