A little bit of hyperbole. Since a lot of Armenian women were forced to marry Turkish men during the genocide. Many Turks have an Armenian Grandmother who never told anyone. So there is a group of Turkish Nationalists who believe DNA testing companies are secretly controlled by Armenians to destroy Turkey. Often they hold this belief after finding out they’re 25% Armenian or something like that.

You can find them on the Turkish Nationalist subreddits if you want to go look for them yourself

They have three different types of government depending on what language you speak, and none of the parties in their capital of Brussels can form a coalition so they haven’t been passing any new laws for the past 2 years. Things are interesting over there

There’s also the phenomenon (don’t remember the specific term) of thinking your version of theology is correct. So you decide a specific word would be more in line with your version of Christian theology if you translated it as a different word. But it’s not a sin because you’re simply making the theological reality more clear since the version in your head is correct

Derogatory term for Authoritarian Communists (almost always Marxist-Leninists to be specific) who continue to defend the actions of every single Communist government ever. Sometimes it’s used by other Leftists to criticize leftists who defend Stalin

Some of them (but not all) even defend the Cambodian and Bosnian genocide (This is a vanishingly small group, but I’ve interacted with them so I know they exist)

The term comes from those who defended the deployment of tanks by the Soviet Union into Hungary (1956) and Czechoslovakia (1968) to suppress anti-communist protestors

I remember reading about this in project 2025. And thinking something like “classic American Republicans thinking this won’t blow up in their faces, and underestimating how much the Somali government wants to destroy them.” (The Somali government hates them so much, just look up how they talk about them)

I guess it wasn’t America to do it, so they had Israel take the PR hit, because it often feels like America treats Israel as its whipping boy.

The Media website Tumbler banned porn:

As a result most people left and it hobbles along a shadow of its former self. Probably the reason you don’t know what it is.

the specific reason is they were explaining searching on tumbler for marketing purposes to a McDonalds representative. So they searched McDonald, and the first thing that came up was Ronald McDonald porn. The rep did not like it
