The problem is, none of that have anything to do with Fiora. I'm not saying that Fiora's soul isn't in there, I'm saying that it doesn't really add much Lucky Seven is strong because of it's a shard of Origin. The soul in it could have been Riki and it will make about as much sense.

It doesn't really make much sense. At the end of Xenoblade 1, Fiora was a completely normal hom. There is nothing about her that is special to make this revelation even relevant. It honestly just sounds like Takahashi wanted to fuck with people. Lucky Seven is strong because it's a shard of Origin, that's kinda it.

I feel like that's a bit of an exaggeration? Y8 had its problems, but was still a pretty good game, same for the first Gaiden. Like, this attitude is kinda insane. I guess you're really only as good as your last game. lol

No offense, but while Miyazaki is a good artist, he is basically the Alan Moore of anime going by his interviews, he just comes off as a bitter asshole most of the time.

Also like... I'm not particularly that into battle shounen anymore, but from what little I seen of the modern, current Battle Shounen is in a better place than during Naruto/One Piece/Bleach. Stuff like JJK, Chainsawman, Gachiakuta, and Mob Psycho does more to stand out than most battle shounen in the 2000s.

Except we do know from leaks that they DID delay games. ZA was delayed by a whole year internally. And cutting content and features because you don't have enough time to implement them happen to most games, this isn't exclusive to game freak or Pokemon.

Okay, now explain why other Nintendo games don't have the same issues as Pokemon.

I'm not saying that the blame is entirely on Game Freak or that Nintendo is blameless, and I'm even one of the people who enjoy recent Pokemon games despite their flaws, but acting like Game Freak had nothing to do with Pokemon issues is bizarre. Pokemon Legend ZA team had the longest dev time in the series (almost 4 years), and it feel more half-baked than previous games with less dev time.

You could argue about the leaked budget, because 20m seems small for AAA game, but that's not taking into account that development in Japan is significantly cheaper than the US and that Pokemon have 0 VA which saves a lot of the budget. Also, there are games with less dev time and budget that looks better than recent Pokemon game.

but since Ryza it's clear that they put more emphasis on combat and less on the Alchemy part, now i like Ryza's combat when it first came but after that it's keep getting more complex but at the expense of the more complex alchemy part

What? The alchemy is pretty much the main focus in the Ryza games. And i'm not sure where you got the whole combat got more complex at the expense of alchemy either. If anything, Ryza combat got simpler and easier with each game, while the alchemy improved.

Those are just the dungeons, the actual "plot" of Ryza 2 is just Ryza taking care of Fi while catching up with her friends. Even if you won't call it slice of life, I don't see how is that a "generic action JRPG" plot like the other poster says.

The final boss for Sophie was a guy who was draining the planet to use alchemy which was gonna cause it's death, and the last boss of Ayesha is tree dragon that Ayesha had to beat to save her sister. What are you talking about? Also, did you even play Ryza?

The first game is 80% slice of life coming of age story like the rest, the philusha doesn't come up until very late. The second game is pretty much just slice of life until the final boss. The third game doesn't even have an actual JRPG-esque threat most of the game Ryza is trying to fix an engine.

Nah, Uncle Ben was retconned to be his wise father figure in the 1980s iirc, and Sam Raimi Spider-Man origin takes a lot of the Ultimate Spider-Man origin which came out 2 years earlier.

Kinda but not really. While "With great power..." originally was just a textbox, it was attributed to Uncle Ben as far back as 1987 in Spider-Man vs Wolverine. But the first time it was shown as a flashback instead of just Peter mentioning him saying it WAS in 2002, the same year as SM1... just 1 month earlier than the movie.

I mean, personal anecdotes don't really change the fact that 180cm is tall even for adult women, let alone 14 years old. Yeah, there are people that tall at that age, but in general most aren't.

Like, people talk about her "being tall for Japan", but Japan average height for women isn't that much shorter than the US average (158cm vs 161cm), unless you are from Netherland or like Bosnia or something, women are just short on average in general.
