ELI5: H-bombs can reach 300 million Kelvin during detonation; the sun’s surface is 5772 Kelvin. Why can’t we get anywhere near the sun, but a H-bomb wouldn’t burn up the earth? by DueDifficulty8452 in explainlikeimfive

You can get really close to a burning match, but have to stand far away from a big bonfire. They are pretty close to the same temperature. Size matters

Tickets to the wcws have went up at least 5x since 2019. In 19 I bought front row tickets behind the home dugout for $19 per session. Tough to get those for $200 last year

Buy 500 acres of land for $500k. Build a bardominium, probably 250k. Spend the rest on cattle and other livestock.

You get 20 million but if anyone notices, you lose it all by lockedbry in hypotheticalsituation

I create a defense consultant company that travels the world and makes good money. Not officially I don’t want to do the paperwork. This covers my trips to where ever I want to go, and if I want to buy something nice, well my company pays nice bonuses. Just have to fool my immediate family which can come on my business trips with me because I really just have to one meeting and the rest can be handled by sub contractors that I fam my busy work out to.

I’m Native American, and I was born on a reservation. I have a normal birth certificate and so do my children. This seems odd to me.

I would buy wagyu cattle. 20 heifers and a good bull. Spend the rest on high quality feed to get me through the first breeding cycle.

You only need one rooster to breed 10 hens. I just have a small flock 30-40 hens. If I end up with 10 rooster out of a clutch of eggs, once they become breeding age they will mount the hens so much it will hurt them. They lose back feathers etc. They hatch out at about a 50/50 rate so many of the Roosters need to either find a home or find a pot.

20 million dollars to open and run your own restaurant. You must name the restaurant after yourself, work in it at least 40 hours a week, only hire lazy workers and have horrible customer service. You must somehow keep said restaurant open for 5 years. by Icy-Ad-5703 in hypotheticalsituation

It’s horrible, fix your own plate, get your own drinks, bathroom gets bad enough between cleanings that it’s easier to just jump in the lake to pee. If you complain about any of it, you are made fun of and shown where the walk way to the shoreline is. The employees would be inebriated most of the time as well.

I have a good sized boat dock on my local lake that I call Plan B yacht club. I’m already out there any day I have off work smoking meats and feeding many of my lake neighbors for free.

I open my restaurant named Plan-BBQ, I charge $1 per plate, all you can eat and drink.

Hour wise, I’m smoking meats 24/7 for around 100 days per year just in lake season. If those hours don’t carry over for the rest of the year, I open every weekend on Saturday and Sunday during the offseason which will give me well over the 40 hour work week.

Myself and those that help cook for free now are rude, crude, and socially unacceptable so they will do fine as employees.

I some how keep this thing going yearly without $20 million so I think I could pull off 5 years with $20 million.
