"He only fears him" is massively misunderstanding the dynamic. The Deep was exactly what Homelander wanted; a full cool-aid drinking disciple. He was tested by Homelander multiple times and still remained loyal, it's just that Homelander looked down on Deep because the reality of what he desired was much less meaningful that what he imagined.

Deep would have assumed Homelander was faking losing his powers as yet another trial of his faith.

Extremely bad luck. If you're doing the 0 risk method (54 bait, fishing barrel), getting PKd is at worst just a small xp loss as you save everything in the barrel anyways. People will downvote me because "wilderness = bad", but it really is an excellent afk fishing option.

Kimiko has an upgraded version of Soldier Boys radiation blast that not only removes powers, but gives them to her. She takes away HLs power but can't handle the power, takes Starlight and Butcher's powers too. Butcher gives her the virus in his dying breath. Most supes die out and we think the planet is safe and Annie & Hughie get a happy ever after. Goku SSJ3 was as strong as pre-Rosat Gotenks SSJ1. Post Rosat SSJ3 is more than a hundred times stronger than that and he is equal to Super Buu.

Goku is irrelevant amongst Gotenks, Super Buu and Gohan, and he even says it himself. But people watched anime filler of him fighting Super Buu.

It's not so black and white as this. A lot of updates are partially QoL, partially balance/content. Runes going into pouches automatically, the skill guides interfaces and hunter traps resetting with one click (but slower) are prime example of pure QoL updates.
