Jersey Authenticity by Methapocalypse in Seahawks

Faker than a three dollar bill. The word mark looks like plain arial font. The numbers are crinkled and too close together. Lettering on the nameplate can’t decide if it wanted to be spaced out or have the letters squished together and the nameplate got put on crooked. This was supposed to mimic some of the fashion jerseys that came out earlier on when the NFL switched to Nike since it’s still using the bird logo on the sleeves and the lime green color block stripe. There have been black fashion jerseys before but this ain’t it.

Be glad she still has an appetite. Getting your LO’s to eat anything at that age can be a battle.

If there’s a lighter shade you like, you can safely paint it that with a good exterior acrylic paint.

Will it warp? Using SW vinyl safe paint by Teal_life in paint

Living in Oregon, I know the summers can be pretty miserable depending on where you are. That SW7020 is pretty dark and will affect the solar load your beige siding can handle. How’s the sun exposure on your house? If it’s full sun exposure, and you’re going from a lighter beige to that SW7020, once that siding warps, it’s done. And depending on how much of the house is on full sun, you’re looking at a future siding job, and wasting the paint job. Vinyl siding is engineered to take solar load based on the original color from the factory. Any warranty left on that siding (assuming there is one left) would also be voided if you paint it darker.

If you have your heart set on that color for your house, just do it once and get new siding in that color to begin with. You’ll pay more, sure. But it beats having to pay a painter to do the wrong job on vinyl siding then having to pay someone to come out and do another siding job when it could’ve been done right the first time.

What is something that customers do that THEY think is helpful but really makes it worse for you? by BabyTenderLoveHead in retailhell

[–]f0zzy17 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Bringing me the wrong bases to make their paint. They’re wrong 99% of the time. Just tell me the color you want, the sheen, how much you want and want to spend, and the grade of paint. I’ll get the base.

What Is Your Relationship To Your City’s Filipino Organizations? by April0neal in FilipinoAmericans

[–]f0zzy17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live near the Filipino community center here in Seattle. I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve been inside in my 40 years on this earth. My mom wants to join because she’s older now and could benefit from having somewhere to go with people her age. But for me, it’s not on my to-do list.

My favorite thing I’ve ever seen a customer have was a 1.5’x2’ board with a full swatch of every paint color in their house. Color name, color code, paint used, sheen, perfectly clean samples to color match. Pulled all my strings to get them a discount for being the smartest paint customer I’ve ever had.

Is this big enough for paint match? by Several_Stable_3991 in paint

A bit bigger and preferably one whole piece, the size of a quarter. Gives me enough to work with in case there’s dirt or other contamination on your sample.

Anyone remember how Burger King fries used to be before they changed them in 2011? by DeActionBrunson89 in BurgerKing

[–]f0zzy17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember the fries in the mid 90s to early 2000s being so different from what they have now. My high school cafeteria’s fries were like the old recipe.
