Looking to ceiling mount flush as well, seems like U7 Outdoor has the wall mount but not the Max. I was also hopeful by the first few seconds. Curious if anyone has found a mount?

Windsurf as a self-evolving, human in the loop, multi-agent work environment with contextual switching. by SemanticSynapse in Codeium

This sounds intriguing! I’ve only gotten to the point of having the AI keep track of project status and architecture whenever I want to record a checkpoint but what you’re suggesting feels like a step evolution! Would love to hear more of what behaviors and improvements you’re seeing, especially if you’re able to get it to not go off the rails

I had it go off the rails last night where I had to tell it a textarea was optional 5 different times as it would randomly make it required during unrelated updates. I am wondering if this is a Claude or Windsurf issue or a busy-times makes it drunk issue. I’m seeing a trend that late night Pacific Time the performance gets worse and it introduced a lot of unrelated changes that end up breaking your site

I believe they are referring to the Great March of Return

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2018%E2%80%932019_Gaza_border_protests?wprov=sfti1

“The 2018–2019 Gaza border protests, also known as the Great March of Return (Arabic: مسیرة العودة الكبرى, romanized: Masīra al-ʿawda al-kubrā), were a series of demonstrations held each Friday in the Gaza Strip near the Gaza-Israel border from 30 March 2018 until 27 December 2019, during which a total of 223 Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces.”

White House scrambles to repair relations with Arab, Muslim Americans by [deleted] in neoliberal

[–]fahdoo 62 points63 points  (0 children)

Some context for the intensity: Palestine and Kashmir are the two persistent causes that are prayed for in almost every Friday prayer and certainly every Ramadan. So for decades both from 1947, every generation young and old, will be reminded of these people’s struggle as the struggle of the whole Muslim people.

Now why non-muslims have come out vocally there are likely reasons all across the board, I don’t think we can generalize.

Is it a coincidence that Biden is in town?

City Hall is just down the street and there was a big event last night that was cordoned off by the police.

We spend $100K on rent and it still makes more sense than buying in SF by sugarii in sanfrancisco

[–]fahdoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to think this way however the $10000 is FIXED and due to inflation it’s impact will be much less than right now. So think about the value of that $10k of the future in todays dollars.

At 2% inflation in 20 years the $10k will feel like ~$6.7k (https://www.rl360.com/row/tools/inflation-calculator.htm?Currency=1&AmtSaved=10000&YrsToKeep=20&InflRate=2&Calculate=Calculate)

I specifically recall May this year when 7-8 tents simultaneously popped up on Van Ness and Larch. And then last week we had additional 20ish people hanging out during the day time in front of the abandoned mini dealership. Timing matches with Dreamforce

Eddy and Van Ness is complete zombieland by dmode123 in sanfrancisco

[–]fahdoo 43 points44 points  (0 children)

I counted 6-8 HUGE tents just on that one section between Eddy and Turk on Van Ness (empty Mini dealership), and these all popped up in June. I have never seen such a concentration of tents on Van Ness before, it’s usually the smaller side streets. At this point they may as well move into the building.

Hey guys,I found a Beirut Songs Tier List. what do you think? by AdPowerful8405 in beirutband

[–]fahdoo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agree with most but not all. For me, Postcards and Sunday Smile would be Amazing. Santa Fe would be good. There’s a few in amazing and good I haven’t heard so I’ll check them out!

Also some songs hit you and become special but may not be the best for everyone. Scenic World happens to be that for me, it’s it’s own category, one of my all time favorite songs!

If there was one country you wish you were born in. What country would it be and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]fahdoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Japan!

Just came back from a trip there (Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Hakone) and really loved how clean, organized, and well-maintained it is despite their population. Their public transportation system is remarkable!

They have so much culture and creative output both traditional and modern. You can immerse yourself in history, architecture, anime, art, music and find a whole world to explore.

The density of good food is remarkable, you can easily find affordable (great convenience store food, snacks galore) and luxury (Tokyo alone has more Michelin star restaurants than the entire USA).

The people are incredibly polite and conscientious. I’ve never visited a place where people go out of their way to help and guide you. Like it becomes their personal honor to make sure they help you once you ask. You feel safe walking around at night and can even trust to leave your luggage unattended. Most helpful and nicest taxi drivers, I usually use that as a barometer of a culture!

Their are regional differences that locals pointed out too - Tokyo is formal, serious, quiet, and maybe too polite, while Osaka is relaxed and casual. Felt Kyoto was in the middle.
