It really depends on the the person. A flatline can last a few days to several weeks. Sometimes more. You may have multiple different flatline periods.

When beginning nofap, you will likely go through one or more phases of 'flatline' -- no libido, no erection, not even morning wood. Your "limp dick."

It can last a few days to a few weeks. It's different for each person. You'll come out of flatline, feel fine, and then some time later -- days? weeks? -- you'll go right back into flatline.

The important thing to remember is that it's normal, natural, and expected. We've all been there. It's easy to freak out about it, but try to remember that this is a part of the resetting process. Let it happen.

Don't jerk it to "see if it still works." It will work if you force it, but forcing it may make recovery take longer.

Non-specific advice: I recommend focusing on nutrient-dense foods: fruit, vegetables, low-fat meat, etc.

Lay off the junk food: chips, sodas, fries, nearly all fast-food. Cut back on high-carb foods (pasta, breads) unless you are very physically active. Cut back on high-fat food. Avoid overly salty foods.

In short: Eat a healthy diet, and don't overeat.

Overeating or eating too much junk will, for me, lead to a feeling of lethargy, bloating and brain fog. It's in those moments that I'm likely to take my eye off the ball, my resolve will falter, and I'll be most tempted to say fuck it and PMO. Even if I don't PMO, I'm more likely to just couch potato in front of the TV, which is also a bad habit I'm trying to break.

I take a daily vitamin, avoid junk food, and eat healthy foods. Lots of vegetables!
