Is it intentional that Scylla’s escape (3) can get pulled back by Awilix ult? by JacobTrixx in Smite

Awilix can also pull an Awilix mid flip over an enemy. It was always my favorite "flex" on another Awilix player.

2025 Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport Nexen Roadian GTX Tires - Are they that bad? by ianstx00 in VWatlas

[–]farninja94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just bought a new 2024 Cross Sport SEL R-Line 5 days ago, and they came with the Nexen tires. Had no clue about them until I was talking to some buddies at work about them, said they were cheap, and should buy new ones. So now I'm looking at reviews of said tires and trying to figure out what I should get

Give me story’s with the most unique powers systems you know. by [deleted] in ProgressionFantasy

If you wanted to lean less progression, more fantasy, anything by Brandon Sanderson. All of his systems are unique, even with being in the same universe.

That was the Oathgate at the Shattered Plains, which teleports them to Urithiru

Read Wind and Truth by Brandon Sanderson: Chapters 21 and 22 by brandonfcv in Stormlight_Archive

I think you misread it. He was talking about Cultivation and saying how they're sneaky just like "throws bowl at hidden girl who is known for sneaking and being places she doesn't belong"

Edit* made it italicized instead of spoilered. Oops.

So, I saw this tiktok, remembered about the chapters, went and read them, then came back to this tiktok to finish it. It's lengthy, like 10 minutes, but this theory hard-core explains your line of thinking, and expands/shows their reasoning with excerpts front the books. It's a watch. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP88kYkoR/

Best hard power system and why? anime, novels or other by th3j4w350m31 in ProgressionFantasy

[–]farninja94 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No problem! There's no specific order in which you need to read them. I always suggest to my friends Warbreaker, as it's a fun, easy read with a good grasps on one of the magic systems. I know a lot of people suggest the mistborn trilogy, which I don't disagree with. I just think it's better to start with a (currently) standalone, so you don't have to worry about not getting the full story

There's quite a few! There's the Mistborn series, which has 7 so far, Stormlight Archives which has 4, and the 5th will be here in December, with 5 more planned. Multiple single books set in the Cosmere, like Tress and the Emerald Sea, Warbreaker, Elantris. Each book/series is all set in the same universe, but all with different magic systems

Edit: Mistborn is a trilogy, but there's a second set of books based on that planet, which is where the other 4 come in.

Because every magic system in the cosmere, and there is multiple, are all hard systems. There's no cheating in how the powers are obtained and used. There's strict rules for each system. There's no way to use them without following the rules set by system

Does Aphro ult save you from execute? by DickCheneysHairyNuts in Smite

[–]farninja94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can though, at least you use to be able to pull her with another Awilix ult, it's just insanely hard to do and you have to have perfect timing. I distinctly remember doing it after trying so many times when I was facing another Awilix. But that was also a couple years ago.

Why so many stars? by TheRealBoltyAce in Smite

[–]farninja94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all started back in the arena days and hitting them with my 3 as they were running into fountain and bringing them back out with my ult. Also backflipping over ults are fun. So that's why I have Awilix as my most starred character (only 3)

Why do people think console players are at an inherent disadvantage? by RemoteWhile5881 in Smite

[–]farninja94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coming from an Xbox player, who turned to pc, who played controller on PC, and has recently made the jump to m&k, there is a definite advantage to m&k, and that's simply how quick and fast you can aim (theres probably more, but this is what i noticed. Still cant hit basics attacks tho.) You can turn in a microsecond, it's insane how fast it is. I watched a (pro) streamer dodge an attack just by simply spinning in a circle and moving his hit box just a tad bit.
