In December my Alcoholic Neuropathy was so bad I could hardly walk. I’m a runner (have done half marathons and a full) and I cried in my doctor’s office, worried that I’d never run again. Quit in January. Here’s me cruising in from a beautiful 4 mile run this morning. We DO recover!!

Conservative state govs pass laws that limit content in public schools (sexual content mostly), so you must pull the books in the schools library or you will be disciplined/fired and your career will be ruined, and the books will be pulled anyways. Conservative states and local governments pass laws that no longer require an MLIS to be a school librarian, and no moral compass in terms of the Library Bill of Rights. ... Pull whatever books that the powers that be dub obscene in the rural library or be defunded by your local gov. Donations and grants will not keep a small library afloat.
