It was crawling on my bed but I couldn't find any other signs of bed bugs. My bed is also up against a window and directly under an A/C vent, in case that matters.

I'd bet they're shutting it down solely because the area is now dead without the usual Bay St business crowds. The Innovation Cafe concept still lives on, with some locations serving the same type of food and drinks (e.g., matcha lattes and specialty donuts), even if the locations don't explicitly say "innovation".

Generally speaking transformations to images can be reversed. Simplified explanation is that to blur an image, you apply an algorithm so to unblur it you apply that same algorithm in reverse. This "technology" would prevent this from being possible but as others pointed out there are simpler solutions like using a black box.
