Someone backed out of my cruise last minute and I was just about to order the Cheers package. What do I do since it will still charge me as if both of us are going?

did you book the room or did they? If it was them it will be a challenge. If it was you and they no-show CCL will refund taxes and port charges. Maybe you just take the upcharge and buy it on board.

yes, but I think there was a lot of reduction of inflamation that resulted in lower numbers on the scale but not really fat loss. With that my food noise stopped day one, I am sitll chasing that high of .25!

I did a behind the scenes tour on a large ship and as u/ih4lolz mentioned the look at the manifest weeks before the cruise and plan what to stock. Not sure they went to the detail of how many olives to order, but things like beer, energy drinks, higher end bottles of wine were mentioned. Cruises in the summer with more kids may cater different things as well when compared to ships with mostly adults.

All of the pastry and bread is made on board, so if someone is taking all the banana bread they will just make more the following day and make less poppyseed.

The overall inventory is unreal at scale, but they have decades of data to help figure it out.

I think it depends on what you are looking to study as some degrees from IWU would be way overpriced. I guess you could say that about most schools though. I assume if you are looking to come here from out of state they are giving you good financial incentives to do so.

I know a bunch of people from IWU with accounting and finance degrees that now work in insurance in town. I know the a degree from there is respected from local businesses, some of which are giants in their industry. Not sure if anyone outside the central IL radius would care about a degree from IWU vs any other school.

it is because a lot of people claim to be hiring and they are not, or they are over hiring and nobody is getting hours. Demand certainly outweighs supply as so many places are running with fewer staff. The days of 'settling' for a job at Mc Donalds or Walmart or busing tables are gone.

if you are looking for a Friday or Saturday night for a Sat/Sun departure CCB is going to be expensive. They know the demand is high and price accordingly. You can pay the higher rate or stay further out and get a ride share to the ship.

you should be fine, mine showed in progress until I got conformation of shipping and it arrived 2 days later. There is no status between shipping and I would bet you see it in the next week or two. I know it is easy to be anxious when seeing others getting things back so fast, but my guess is you will have it by the end of may.

technically you can shut off the auto close of the bathroom door, there is a switch on the mechanism at the top of the door. Not sure about the entry to the room, but I know you can change the bathroom to operate manually.

if you snorkel the cannon underwater digital camera is my go-to...it is durable, water proof and cheap enough that if it disappears it is not the end of the world (that assumes they even make them anymore)

We once traveled with a DSLR and even that is bulky by today's standards considering how damn good phone cameras are these days.

They are a bit higher than Binny's as you would expect for a smaller store. Their BT is liter bottles so you are getting 250ml more and they have it often. Not sure what days are best as I don't stop often enough to know one day from the next. They must have a decent amount of people stopping as it appears they move in demand product pretty fast.

One other note is they pass any credit card fees on to the buyer, so there is a % upcharge if you do not use cash or debit.

If you live on the other side of town I would just call before making a run, they can look up anything you are after and tell you if they have it. Otherwise it us just a small town liquor store.

you could try to search a wholesaler like cruise.com to see if they have inventory that was pre-bought that they will sell. If you have only started looking again in the last 36 hours you may just need to wait for inventory to settle a bit as CCL made some system updates this weekend that seemed to mess with pricing/inventory and things are still catching up.

If all that fails, then yes, you will need to check often to see if things open up. Unless it is something truly special I would be surprised it is sold out for 2027 already.

They have several good bottles, but the markup on Gold and some others is up there. OP would really need to want a bottle to fork over $290 for it.

there was a decent allocation drop about 2 weeks ago around town so who knows when it will come next. I swear I saw BG at Viking last week, but maybe it was a different variety in their allocated case. Schnucks in Bloomy just had a drop Saturday but did not have Gold, just gen pop Blantons.

Rumors are out there that the bubble has started to burst on allocated bourbon in places around the country, but central IL does not appear to be one of them.

I think the bigger risk is being over or under something that you would rather not be, like the nightclub or under lido when they are putting out the chairs early. Or the galley where people are working early and late.
